Go to the configuration screen , then go to sounds and audio devices and look under the hardware tab , you should see all the audio devices including your soundcard . Then go to the website of the producer and download the driver you need for that card (if you dont know which is the audio card post your findings here and i will tell you .)

Hello PyroOmega, there is a great programme it is called Everest HOME. You shall "google" for it, it shows you almost everything on your computer (E.g. the name of your soundcard, graphic card etc.)
Best regards,
Carhartt

what brand is iT HP or dell or something like that ? it would be realy easy for me to find out what you have just describe your pc a little , when you go to the store they will also need to know what it is . But if you never had sound and you dont see a sounddevice , ods are you dont have one ! You can see your onboard audio also in the menu , its hows up just like others .
