Navigate to: C:\Users\{your name}\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files and delete the gta_sa.set file. If there are any other files in this root folder (not any of the sub-folders), delete them as well.

Then it means it's not a script or database error as the temp server is an exact mirror of the main server (exactly the same scripts and database) which means there is nothing we can do.

Navigate to: C:\Users\{your name}\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files and delete the gta_sa.set file. If there are any other files in this root folder (not any of the sub-folders), delete them as well.

Let's hope it does not happen again when we return to other server.

Also as I played completely fresh on a laptop and the account was used on a computer not belonging to me (the player from USA), how can It be an issue at my end?

I've looked up the memory address cited there; it could be a script end but if it was as Zaila said... this address would be something that happens OnPlayerSpawn which would affect every single player upon spawning into the game world.. which obviously isn't the case.

Another possibility is resolved by fixing it using the method I provided to you.

I also found that there was a opcode occurring like every 10 mins around Pershing, but I have anticrasher, so I don't know if it crashes people, but Monte's problem might be linked to that. Just a thought.

Also sounds silly, try installing Anticrasher that tends to solve it.

When the other host was in use, I had done that same method several times over.

Not our fault. If scripts were at fault then it would happen to all players, not just you.
It's a problem with his player account, which is stored on a database serverside.

If somebody from a different country logged into the account, and it crashed, it is to do with the account - no more questions asked. This is basic diagnostic debugging. It has nothing to do with his internet connection, his registry, his GTA installation, his SAMP installation, or any other local files. The issue is repeatable on a different machine with a totally different set of installations, and is localised specifically to just Argonath RPG and just his account. Again, this is basic diagnostic debugging.

The issue has been localised to his ingame account. What possible unique options exist about that account?

Random suggestions:
  • What skin are you using? Is anyone else using it on the server? Is it possible to change the skin and check this?
  • Is there a very specific amount of money on hand that is in some strange way crashing the game? Could you have someone hand you some cash to check this?
  • Is his health amount, money amount, or any other normally integer value stored in the database incorrectly? Have they been f**ked by some kind of math function that has rounded them to a float? This would need to be checked in the database directly. If they have, could they be corrected to the nearest integer?
If the database fields are int fields as would be expected, is some kind of math function acting on it in real time (when he is logged on) and trying to make it a non-integer value, thus crashing his game?
  • Is his actual ingame name interfering with the script in some unforeseen way? You could try changing his ingame name manually in the database then having him log in and check this possibility.
  • Is his password somehow interfering with the script? On the assumption he is able to login for a small period of time, could he change his password and then relog to see if the crashing continues?
  • Does he have any weapons on hand? Any weapons should be removed in case they're crashing him.
  • Are the IDs of his houses or businesses somehow interfering with the script?
  • Is his car ID, or car license plate, somehow interfering with the script? This might be able to be changed manually in the server database.

Really the most puzzling thing is that the exact copy of the database onto the temp server has him not crashing. If it is copied back to the old IP and his issues are gone, it could have been a very peculiar database issue that sorted itself. If none of the above worked, you'll have to rely on that or remake the account, I guess.

Did you try anticrasher? You'll still get annoyed by opcodes, but they are completely harmless.

 :(

- Already sold all my vehicles, was still crashing.
- House magically disappeared.   <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
- Password was changed for another user to try, he kept crashing when other password was in use.
- Name changed back to [NP]InfernalCurse
- Playing on and off of duty, using several skins, crashed regardless of skin
- VPN used to rule out server / host fault
- Weapons have been lost several times anyway due deaths
- Money has fluctuated during the times of crash

That's a bit provocative, keep these comments to yourself.
-Forum Moderation

Already installed anti crasher ages ago, current version of GTA is mod free. Mod free version playing on a laptop also caused crashing. Other player using the acc also caused crash, whilst he suffers no crashing on his own account.

If the issue returns when we're back on the other ip, I think we should set me as a Chief of Police and wait a year to see if it works or not.

And we're back to crashing. - 11:20am

Have you got another account to play on the server with at the moment?

The only problem I can too think it being is an account issue itself which has been made clear by someone else trying to use the account. We've had an issue like this before though it was on older scripts..

Those that have database access can we just make up for any losses on a new account till we can figure out how to fix this issue?

Ted, the problem is out of our hands as it's not an account problem. He's crashing on the main server, while he was able to play on the temp server with the exact same script and it was remote connecting to the main database. A new account wont help.

All PMs saying "Look at my unban request!!11" will be ignored.

In need of assistance? Please send me a forum PM instead of contacting me ingame. Whenever i am ingame, i'm most likely busy with something else which means i wont be able to help you there and then.

Try to delete everything in your registry that is related with GTA SA (particularly, SA-MP). Then reinstall your game.

back again!

Ted, the problem is out of our hands as it's not an account problem.
The problem exists on the account even if played on a different computer on a different continent by someone who can play normally on their own account.

It's simple debugging - the issue has been isolated to the account, but only when connecting to the server on the main IP.
How can this be explained? If it cannot be explained, then a new account should probably be made.

I have to say again: assuming that he is telling the truth about the other guy also crashing on his account (!), then his computer (including installation, registry, graphics drivers, audio drivers, bloody microsoft office version whatever) has nothing to do with it.

I am now crashing upon the temp server.
It only took the bug a day to find out about the temp server.
And when the main server was on yesterday, I did not crash, but began crashing on the temp server instead.

I don't see why I'd lie.
Take a look at the unban request forum to see what happened to the lad who used my account .

Been there done that.

Been there done that.
Actually there was no files for GTA in it.
