Reread what i said.. It WAS a rule back in rs4 when i started playing, not saying it should be a rule right now, even tho i think it is already.
I'm talking about adding some server rules for traffic.

Never was a rule just more bullshit that was made up like many of the so-called rules that float around here.  Don't need to wide spread claustrophobia on the server with more rules that are not worth the hassle.  You think admins here going to play traffic monitor answering reports like that aren't even worth the time.

That rule did actually exist as in police barricades, barricaded situations such as roadblocks or barricades with vehicles around premises could not be breached by civilians, would automatically count as copbaiting and in many cases resulted bans or tempbans.

I still think there should be new server rules, people these days can copbait by just driving recklessly in front of police officers, they'll get pulled over and just flee instead of actually RPing the situation. Seen that dozens of times tbh.

Immediate ban for breaking barricade was never a thing in RS4. I have played almost the entire RS4 and I can assure you it was never a thing. (Here I am assuming that you mean driving through a police barricade).

However, it is against the rules to enter a house containing suspects after the cops have surrounded the house. It doesn't result in an immediate ban either.

People in argonath drive like they're playing some stunt/freeroam/races modes.
When officers or other emergency services are responding, they won't move, instead, they'll purposely switch into your way and attempt to crash or make you turn quickly to avoid it.
And it's not only that, it's that some officers and emergency services misuse sirens, even I don't know when somebody is responding or just playing around. That's also one thing about it.
Finally, it's mostly thing about civilians vs cops thing, where they wanna annoy and provoke us whenever they can just because we're on police duty.

I think it'd be cool if ticket amount would be raised to 1000$ for reckless driving, speeding and breaking traffic laws

Shitting around with everything you say isn't any better than ramming/provoking cops. Talking about Argonath generaly includes yourself and your friends as well, so if some new people who feel really 'free' when they start playing here break some rules or do things such as what you stated above, don't talk about Argonath in general.
Try to teach them instead of shitting on them on a forum post, which they probably won't even see/read.

Everything he said was valid and true, sadly. Not only new players, but the regulars as well do such shit.

Why do you ( not you as you, Alex, but generally) think new rules would lead to new punishments? I mean yea, they would, but eventually, people will start playing by those rules.

Maybe right now, Argo does not need these rules, but if Argo ever hits 100+ people again, we will need them.

We will not ever support it changing in to a jungle of rules that are impossible to understand, follow and adhere to. Our rules will remain the minimal needed to stop players who wish to disturb the fun in playing from doing so, not more and not less.
