Tried other power supply, still same. I'm just wondering, what components will get damaged when you rapidly shut down?

When you shut off your pc on the normal way there is an procedure to shut off  everything normal , When you use the rapidly shut off  your processors will  shut off on the wrong way and some things may get lost or placed wrong etc , So  when you use rapidly shut down to  mutch your pc gets unstable,  So shut off your pc on the right way and use rapidly only when your pc is stopped.  ;)

Displace the BIOS battery and replace it, I can only suggest.

(WARNING: That will reset your BIOS settings. When you do this, you will have to adjust the BIOS settings.)

back again!

You can't just simply adjust the BIOS and think it's all gonna be ok, you need to know what you are doing or you end up messing up your whole system.

When a power supply fails, it can fry electronics instantly.

Depends on which BIOS you are currently using. I can access my PC's BIOS setup by pressing F12 (that screen appears when I try to start my computer).

If you don't know how to browse around in BIOS and/or you do not have a PC you're ready to ditch, don't go around changing settings in BIOS.

Most of the time your default bios settings are more than enough to keep your PC running.

If the "noise" you hear is kind of clicking sound, then it's your hard drive. If it's static noise (not the kind that comes from fans) I recommend not turning on your PC and taking it to professionals. (PSU would be fried in this case, and it can damage any and all other components along with it).
