If they end up building them, I literally hope terrorists attack the turbines they might be building west of the isle of wight.
That's the problem, wind turbines might generate green power but they really are eye sores in some places, and plopping them at tourist attractions like the isle of wight, what are they thinking?
Boiled down it's really just the inherent inner sense of superiority combined with mild disdain for everything.
we're alright once we get a pint in though
I think being the country that created much of the modern world as we know it gives us right to feel an inner sense of superiority, be it true or not.

The problem is that everybody seems to think Britain owes the world something, they think that if you're proud of being British then you're a hard right wing racist, well how does that make sense? Britain owes the world nothing and we have the right to control immigration into our own country and what goes on inside it as a whole, nobody should be able to tell the UK what to do except British people, so Brussels and the indeed the whole EU can get lost, I'm fine with losing trade, I'm not fine with the UK's reputation, culture and identity being destroyed by foreign bureaucracy.
