Can someone help with the no-cd patch?

OK, I downloaded it and, but the instructions on the Argonath site aren't very clear to me.

What is the no cd patch for?

Generally, no cd patches look like the original starting executable, thus, you remove the original executable and put the patch in it's place. After that, you just run the shortcuts/patch to play the game and it should work without requesting that you put in the cd.

 simple- extract the no-cd patch to the Grand Theft Auto folder and you can either replace the other or take it off before doing either way it should work.

Well, I downloaded it, and it's a .rar file, which I can do nothing with... should it have been a ZIP file?



BTW it's for GTA.

Get winrar and extract it and your desk. Then take the file you extracted and transfer it to your game location
