Can we just get rid of confess!!

These images show just a fantastic example of the abuse that this feature is causing...

SF had at the time just one person on duty, and as you can see I had NO chance of intercepting this individual!

Move it to LS as at least there are normally far more cops, giving a chance for the suspect to get caught rather that running unopposed.

The /cancelsuspect could be brought back, for captains and chiefs as in thoery they should have the suitable experience to make a fair choice, anyone junoir would have to present justification for the request to a senior rank.
AND if they are found abusing it then demote them!

This shows where I was when I got rammed into the water!, anyone who knows it, knows its a long swim to get out!

I think there shall be a chance to get rid of the wanted level, but i am also missing the /cancelsuspect ID <reason> command.

So far today EVERY criminal in SF has ran straight for the church!!!

SF cops have almost NO chance!!!

And yes I am getting more and more annoyed with SF and hows it treated.

Isn't there a opportunity to make the church a big entre fee? Like 1k or something... And add /cancelsuspect to chiefs an captains (even officers)?

When it's 1k entrance, less ppl would take the church. Its better they gave up and /gu or just die...

Of cource when there is a event going on (wedding, funeral...) the fee would be less (even 0$)

To be honest, there was no problem with any cancelsuspect abuse in 0.2.1, so why can't everybody use it? Especially when many of the Chiefs and Captains aren't trusted, I think it would be better if everybody could (even Free Cops). When before you could just spawn, even then there was no trouble.

Also, if you wish to charge money for confess, then it should charge for the actual /confess command rather than the enter, then the Church is free as it should be.

Come to Sf by yourself and try and enforce law...

At the moment its possible to kill a cop multiple times outside the cathedral and get away with it..

And yes I have been killed outside that cathedral, often now just letting them go as I dont have the means to arrest or  take down guys with automatics that can confess at will.

The idea of the 1k linked to confess might be better, but rather than on entry, make it on use of the confess command.  A 'donation' to cathedral funds??

Well actually, you can only confess with a 1 star wanted level (or at least I think you can). Therefore, you cannot kill a cop multiple times and get away with it as murder gets you 4 stars....

No, I refuse to leave another thing up to the Argonath Admins..

Thats a piece from MTA that was somewhat ineffective at times, and I believe that Cops should have that right, particularly to solve their own ID Errors and the such.

SO many times I have seen maybe a new Cop go "Ok, I'm sorry that was wrong to suspect you, how do I undo it?". And of course, the only way is to go to San Fierro. At which point we are slaughtered by Cops just waiting at the Cathedral (I'm looking at you, Jenn  :roll:).
