Islamic Extremist takes Civilians Hostage in Sydney Australia

This morning an Islamic extremist took as many as 30 people hostage at the Martin Place Lindt cafe in Sydney.
Hostages where seen held at gunpoint and force to hold up Islamic Flags. Building surrounding the siege have been evacuated after the hostage taker claimed to be in possession of an explosive device. 



So far a total of three hostages have escaped the ordeal alive as negotiations with the Gunman continue.

During my whole day in school, nothing was changed although there was a LOT more people coming back from work early in the 3PM Peak.

Its a serious question, how come when a non-muslim does a crime he is called a criminal but when a muslim does a crime he is called a terrorist, extremist and what not. Not that i support their actions, i just wonder why.

The word terrorist has a definition. That's why this man can be called a terrorist, not because he's a muslim.

A few definitions of the word above. There's no doubt what this man's intention is. It's a terrorist act.

It has nothting to do whether they are muslims or christians. Ku Klux Klan is classified as a notorious terrorist organization as well. I am not sure how active they are nowadays though.
