Dont Brake the Law. If You brake it Then you get punished End of story.
Better Rp like i said and you wont get shot by annhilitor , Still this is RP server And rp-ing abit then just Evading Would be nice.

Let's all brake a bit plz. Such constructive comment, when you evading you are not rping your role mate?

Btw as same as yoske said i agree that the anni is getting a bit overused , i would say that it in last period it has been used alot also to test the drivers even if they did a training.

I agree the Annihilator is used quite often now, sometimes more than necessary, however I believe it is mainly because in past, there was way fewer people who could operate it, and so unlike today, some calls for it were actually never heard. I believe that this is one of the reasons FBI has got its own Annihilator - NOOSE was inactive and there was no one to provide the necessary power when needed.

Believe it or not, we rarely take it without being requested to do so. Even yesterday, when you were evading in the Patriot and later drove to the subway, we were requested to aid the ground units by a high ranked LCPD member who was chasing you the entire time. (Quite( since we did you almost no harm)) unfortunately for you, both Annihilators were in the air at that time since we've been on a training, so that might have been a slight overkill.

The point of what I'm saying is that the requests of 'air support', 'AU' and 'pew pew' are getting much more frequent. But in the same time, the amount of suspects evading in 'irregular' vehicles, such as supercars or even the damn firetruck, is increasing. We did not start using it so often just because we feel like pwning someone.

For the procedural part, a quote from NOOSE procedures set by hAWK (scratch number2):
)
VI. NOOSE operative is allowed to use NOOSE Annihilator machine guns ONLY:

1.   When a suspect is trying to evade and there is not other way for catching/stopping him/her. For example: busses, trucks, fast cars. (NEVER use the Annihilator machine guns on on-foot suspect!)
2.   When the suspect is fleeing by helicopter.
This indeed gives plenty of liberty to NOOSE staff, but judging from the lack of complaints, the Annihilator 'real abuse' rate is 0, and therefore no real wrongdoing has been done with it. It's just that people get annoyed by losing.

Anyways, this has been quite an issue lately, I can see that just as you do. And while I don't believe any real harm is caused, I will try to reduce the Annihilator usage - but not by procedures, but by talking to the people who operate it, myself included. I will still leave operatives the liberty to decide whether the Annihilator is necessary or not, but I will ask them not to use it so thoughtlessly (and I think I am to blame for this, since my piloting of it is certainly not just occassional).

As for the ground units, that's quite complicated - either suspect drives a car that can be caught by regular police vehicles (Cruiser, Buffalo) and therefore no NOOSE Cruiser or Patriot interfering is needed, or he drives a supercar, against which NOOSE ground units would have the same effect as the LCPD/FBI ones. That leaves NOOSE cars to be used mainly for roleplays.

And just by the way, we don't get paid for killing you with the machine guns.

tl;dr version: I'll try to do something about it.

Peace
Kerbe

I do think its not about limiting the power, but to self-restrict the power.
Something abstract:
Rather than complaining others over-powered, think of what power you have been given.
Rather using your own rights, think of what responsibility you should hold.
---------------------
By same mean, I think its not the matter of limiting the power or usage, whatever, but to teach them how they should perform their rights. So I don't think rules restriction/limitation are applied in this case, but the consciousness of our player to maintain a suitable playing and role play environment.

Sometimes I do think these are pointless arguing, because these things can be deal with a simple kick. Nonetheless, having a deeper conversation and discussion always allows us to understand how others react to this issue.

For the record, FBI's Annihilator policy is much more restrictive than NOOSE's (top secret so if I told you I would have to kill you).

If NOOSE is following their policy then I don't see much of a problem here as far as its usage is concerned. It seems that the complaints here are limited to one or two people and is not a widespread epidemic needing immediate attention.

Secondly, this appears to be a procedural complaint which should be filed with LCPD Command. If the problem persists then management can intervene if necessary. Bottom line is I don't see this to be a huge concern at the moment.

You don't play IV:MP. Get out. Subforum description:
"Please post here Suggestions regarding IV:MP, Ideas regarding Scripts please in subboard!"

It might be worth for you to know (since you don't seem to play IV:MP, you just want to be alpha and show the world how truly a leader you are) that recently the IV:MP server started counting Annihilator gun kills as a proper way of killing a suspect (giving the suspect a 300$ fine), whereas it did not happen before. But this is not what i'm talking about, and I don't have a problem with the 300$ fine.

Last I remember LCPD is part of IV:MP. Since you're the big boy here, tell me again why are they even in a separate forum? Is that really needed? (In my honest opinion, that just sounds like unnecessary extra work. Having to mantain two different forums "just because", while they're still dependant on eachother)
@ Samp invader - there is no need for that attitude really...

My God..

First of all, I used to actively play IV:MP. I know how shit works there. Then I went inactive due to real life issues, and upon return, I was treated badly, since I changed my in game name and everyone regarded me as "SA:MP" player. It's disgusting to see such attitude from administration. For your information, I come from VC:MP. Second, keep shitting on SA:MP and I might see Argonath HQ intervening. We're all one community and no branches have right to disrespect or mistreat players from the other. People like you are the reason I left IV:MP. Disgusting attitude towards SA:MP division members..

Secondly, LCPD is firstly part of ARGONATH, and only then IV:MP server. LCPD, SAPD, VCPD, LU LCPD are all united and commanded under ARPD (Argonath RPG police department). All Argonath police departments operate under the ARPD forum. Same goes for FBI. So before lecturing me, get your facts about Argonath together.

hes accusing us of disrespecting samp, lol?

also, hes 'used' to be active in ivmp and he doesnt know whats going on in ivmp now. so commenting on something which is unknown to him is lol. good for him hes from vcmp and all that, irrelevant to the topic. following is his former post by him which provoked, he doesnt even know whats going on in ivmp and being aggressive didnt help at all, lol

Then stop f**king complaining. It's LCPD protocol, not a server rule. If you want to change this, you must address LCPD, not the server team.

i dont realy want to argue here for no reason btw. peace be upon you my friend

The "Used to" is not more than three months ago. Yes, I am accusing you of such, and these two posts I quoted prove every point I said, which you probably did not read, assuming from the amount of nonsense you just wrote.
Anyhow, I don't need to be active in IV:MP to tell you how it works. The Annihilator usage is not regulated by administrator or server management, it's regulated by LCPD, which means that these kind of complaints go to ARPD forum. This is how it works in all Argonath RPG branches. Yet the OP says he's too lazy to go there so he'll just rant here, which will change completely nothing. Therefore, it's obvious he's here to cry rather than make any change. One of these people with all talk but no walk.
