...to my inactivity, because I am coming back.
For the last half of the year, I have been busy in the real world, specifically with corporate life and other things. As fate would have it, I realized the job was not my calling, so I resigned to focus more on being a graphic designer.
And after all this time, I miss this community. For all the fun, drama, friends, and bullshit that shows itself here, Argonath has endeared itself to me greatly. While most players eventually grow up (like many of those from my "generation", who have stayed here for 6 to 8+ years) and leave, now is not yet my time.
Part of the beauty of Argonath is that it is both consistent and ever-changing, for better or for worse. That whenever a player leaves for an extended amount of time, they could count on coming back to a community with (mostly) the same spirit as the one they left, while seeing enough new changes to feel like Rip Van Winkle. So for the next few weeks, I will focus on adjusting and catching up on everything I have neglected since I left.
