I really am in need of a good, fast and easy to use VPN... I live in the dorms of my university and well they got everything related to gaming blocked... Yep.


So far I've tried the following:

Hideman - ( free version )

TunnelBear - ( free version )

PIA "Private Internet Access" - ( Paid but couldn't get myself to connect, even after 5 hours of trying and after contacting live support so I cancelled my subscription. ).

PureVPN - ( Didn't use it but a lot of people here do. However the method of paying is a bit complicated.... If no other VPN is suggested I have to get back to this I guess. )

CyberGhost - ( free version - didn't work )

I'd recommend a VPS from http://www.ramnode.com/, then install either OpenVPN or something else (I can find the name). For my VPN, I pay $15 USD per year for the 128mb/s and I still manage to get 20mb/s download speed. Cheaper and often higher speeds that what I've noticed from even premium VPN service providers.

I have the same setup and it works quite well. It's very cheap for 1 whole year.

Well if you are using smart phones, download openvpn, and EasyOvpn
The second app will give you free vpn (which will for 3hours-2days, you've to open the vpns which provided by easyovpn by openvpn, no user and pass needed for these account.

It's safe, I'm using this for years

EDIT: You can use it for PC too (not sure about mac and linux, but windows) just download dropbox for your windows and iphone/android, open the accounts which provided by easyOvpn via dropbox, save it, then go to your PC and open the dropbox, drag and drop the account to your pc Openvpn, enjoy

The lowest tier is $5 a month, you get $100 for free, so that would be 20 months of your own, free, dedicated VPN used as a VPS.

If you want one that's cheap I'd recomend https://disconnect.me/ good for Android and iOS do expect to have any pirating sites blocked though.  It does go a little deeper than a VPN of sorts with it's goal to stop trackers and etc. just check it out.

Edit: good for PC too! I haven't met any data restrictions either.
