Hello
After 15 years of working with Windows all the time, I decided to install Linux, already tried some other versions of Linux but I feel good with this version (Mint),
but I don't have any experiment about working with Linux, I probably need some help after installing it, at the moment I've windows 7.
First, I need to know what's difference between Linux mint versions (cinnamon and bla bla bla)? cinnamon is a good version?
I had x86 version of Windows, but now I wanna install x64 version of Linux mint.
How can I study Linux commands ? (for Terminal)
I heard about an app which is called "wine" so I can run windows based programs, Is that working properly?
Here's the programs that I mostly use :
MS Office, Adobe PDF reader, Adobe PS, Visual Studio, JetAudio, IDM and Google chrome, Apple iTunes, iFunbox, and finally the only game that I want to be installed is GTA SA (I will face any problem for installing mods?)

Thank you very much ;)
cheers

For the applications you use, i'd stick with Windows if I were you. You will run into compatability issues for sure.

Cinnamon is one of the many Linux desktop environments, its a quite nice one, other popular ones are XFCE, Gnome, Mate and so on. But like Marcel said you will probably have some problems with some of the applications with WINE, and while GTA SA may work to some degree, it will probably be laggy (like 10 fps), from what I've heard of other people testing.

You can substitute many of the programs on your list with ones available for Linux (Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, iTunes), and the others you could try to emulate under WINE (Adobe Photoshop). If you're using Visual Studio for C#, you could consider Mono, which is a clone of .NET for Linux.

Gaming under VirtualBox is generally considered a bad idea.

That could work. However, why add a layer of virtualisation when you can have the native performance of a Windows installation?
