[FIXED] a problem with my IV:MP .

i did that a lot of time "re-instal" and you are still saying "Re-install"
if my Game is bad copy , so what it was working before i got my new windows .
don't say it's because your windows version , i know someone has like my windows Version .
so what suppose i do ?

no , The original gta is working without problems but when i want to open iv:mp the gta iv works .
it's not crash or something like this.

If I recall properly I have had the same issue as well when I was playing on IV:MP. Try unistalling it and istalling a new copy of the game in a new folder. Then get the last patches and the latest IV:MP client and run it as administrator. Don't forget to run Single player at least one time before you try IV:MP.

The new folder part is important, let us know if it helped.

It's a shame I can't remember properly to be helpful here.. Keep trying with different changes to the procedure you follow, even something simple may get it working. If it's pirated, try a genuine copy of the game maybe if you can. Dunno what else to suggest.

Hello Scorpion, Looks like you have been facing bad Situation with the PC, Follow the instruction below for Better solution and avoid Headaches.

Grab ur PC, Take it to Bathroom, Open the Shower and Let ur PC take some bath, In the mean while, Go to Gas station and Buy Approx 1 Litre of Patrol ( Make sure to buy Premium Fuel for better Improvement in your PC ), Aprox 1 Litre Okey ? Bring it back home and Take it to Bathroom, Put some Premium fuel on ur PC for better Improvement ( Regular / Diesel also Might work but it will cause Pollution ). Finally take PC to Kitchen and Keep it near the Gas Cylinder and Put fire and Stay near PC, After few Mins. You will find urself and ur PC in Best situation and It will Work Perfect with Any Game. Even Games that Ur PC dont support. Hope this Helps, Try it ! This was Solution from One Tech Support for PC that cause many issues to their daily users.

Install Xliveless or update your GFWL client. Typically if you update GFWL, you won't need Xliveless, but some people might not want GFWL (if they don't play GTA IV normal MP, for example), for that just use Xliveless, faster & less hassle

I have faced same issue where when u open IV:MP, It opens GTA IV. Well Here is a Solution that I tired and it worked for me. Firstly, Uninstall the GTA IV from PC, Also Delete its folder from the Hard disk, Also Uninstall your IV:MP Client and Delect Its Folder also. Now Reboot ur PC and Install GTA IV Fresh Copy and Install GTA IV Patch 1.0.7.0 Install the Patch and Copy xlive and LaunchIV from downloaded file to your PC GTA IV Installed Folder. Make Sure to Keep Ur Antivirus Off .Well Dont Install IV:MP client Yet. Open the GTA IV , Play for some times like 5 Min. Then Close it and Download Fresh copy of IV:MP Client ( http://gta-multiplayer.cz/downloads/IVMP-0.1-T3.zip ), And Install it, and Reboot ur PC again, And Open the LaunchIV:MP for the First time then It should work. Hope this helps
