Living in a little city with 100k people. The city is known for being the capital of Northland and home of students, there is around 40,000 people studying at Umeå University and we also have one police academy. We got Europe's biggest Sport center with 3000-4000 daily visitors and 21000 sqm in area!
Umeå is known historic to be settlers city build to gain taxes to the king in the early 17th, the town was build to populate the northern part of Sweden. The city has been burned down 3 times in total, 2 times by the Russians and the last time(1888) due a lack of fire fighters.
