I'm probably one of the most punished individual in this community, and I do not think this;
I think they might abuse their rights; either by not knowing how & when to apply the proper punishment. What I mean is, sometimes a whisper would be enough, other times a ban is the right decision.

And this is where the 'admins hate us' come into play. By not knowing how to act, sometimes, when DM happens, and a /report from the party that got attacked, the admin, obviously, won't just issue a punishment, he will look further into it and whisper person B(the attacker). It might happen that the conversation is enough to make Person B realise that what he did was unfair and is not supported by the server rules, and the subject's ended there. Yet, person A, is not informed about this conversation, which brings the 'omg, i reported Person B and admins didn't do shit, they hate me'. While person B doesn't really give a fuck. With the current brag and spam created by Person A, mainly for not being informed, and completely displaying bad girl-like behavior on main chat, the admins will obviously issue a punishment to him, usually this ranges from a mute to a kick. Which leads to 'omfg they trully hate me'. - So this comes from a non-competent work from the Admin part, he did check the report, look into it, speak with Person B, but didn't inform the victim abou the conversation, making him think the Admin doesn't gaf.

The you have the counterpart, that admin that wants to look so competent, that will issue punishments over every single report. 'Humm, that player reported that other guy for KILLING HIM RANDOMLY(?), it's time for a temporary ban! I'll look so dedicated regarding my newest position!'. Or 'humm, I'll give him a verbal warning, once, and I'll straightly ban him if he doesn't comply, because I'm the authority!'. - This also leads to people to not think that they hate us, but that they don't really care about the people who are part of the community.

Even tho not everyone is fitted to be an administrator, and that's why some people lose their administrator rights over time and that's also why there's a test period for the server Staff, there's also server Staff that is highly competent and make it high into the ranking system.

They are actually doing their job properly as they are not forced to give the issue of their investigation to the reporter...
Once you reported someone it's up to the admin to do whatever he wants and you have to move on. It's not because there is not a displayed punishments that nothing happened.

I think a quick whisper, even if they're not forced to do it, would be insightful to the victim.

Often times we simply don't have time to sit and discuss the outcome with the victim. When your alone jumping from one report to the next it can take long enough simply conducting the investigation let alone feedback.

I feel the best course of action is to be sure that if you saw an admin take a report something will be done about it.

Some people don't take it that way.
As a really old player, I can see and know their prespective. I do understand what you said, but taking 5 seconds to let the victim know you actually spoke to him when there is NOT a public announcement, will infact reduce the cry regarding Argonath staff.

If the outcome is not what the victim is expecting, it will take WAY more than 5 seconds because moaning will happen and they will go "why? but he did this and that wtf you are shit admin"

Of course, everyone living will have some sort of prejudice in one way or another. The only way to solve that would be to have bots handle every single matter with a predefined method in which a problem is solved.
Now that's not going to happen but there is always going to be a human factor within the server administrating the players and assisting as they can. Bad calls will be made at times however if brought to our attention appropriately then we will look into any cases of prejudice.

Keep in mind there shouldn't be claims of bias behaviour displayed by staff members who are simply doing their job dealing with players breaking the rules. No matter the group.

Quick question, why does almost every group post pictures in their topic, call it "Roleplay" when all you see is a few players standing there holding guns/weapons?
I believe we have two different ideas of what roleplay is about.
