Argonath SA:MP RPG is looking for new developers!
Are you interested in becoming an RPG developer, do not hesitate to contact us!

Please ensure you meet the requirements before applying. All applications which are meeting the requirements will be considered.

Requirements for server developer
* Must know PAWN at an at least an advanced level.
* Must have a decent understanding of MySQL and SQL queries.
* Must have a comfortable working experience with Github and Git in general.
* Must have the ability to write in English at an intermediate level.
* Must be willing to work in a team.
* Must be able to work under pressure, meet milestones and deadlines.

Preferred for server developer
* Knowledge of HTML/HTML5 & JavaScript
* Knowledge of Node.js and the Express Framework is a plus

Notes for server developer
* This is a volunteer position. You will never be paid.
* You won't be given any administrative position in-game.
* You will be subject to an non-disclosure agreement.
* You may be given a trial task to demonstrate abilities.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Writing efficient, clean, and usable source code for the server.
* Reviewing other developers source for code review.
* Developing new ideas and concepts that can later be introduced.
* Working with a team to discuss, plan, code and deploy new ideas, bug fixes, and more to a production server.

We are hopeful we can announce our new developer shortly and begin working with them to continue working for greatness within the community.

I assume you don't know much about coding or development teams in general. With the size of our system we can only have so many scripters working on it at time... otherwise we have people stepping on each others shoes and conflicting code which only leads to problem. You don't want a team to small or too big for your development project.

Well... you do have a point and I can relate actually, but I didn't really think of it in that manner.

To all members of Argonath state,

Applications for developer are coming soon, I will be leading that process and selecting the best of you to join us.

We will announce at the end of september the two selected persons to join our team. After their adaptation períod to the system and all provedores, we will be inviting two more members, hopefully at the end of october we have a five members inside our development team.

this is a notification, so all can be ready for the applications the entire information at the first topic will be reviewed and updated according to my ideas.

Let the nerd side come out and join our development team soon.
