See, if driving schools and CMB were more serious and actually taught something then they would get to know basics.
But since you just enter a car, drive a circle and get a license, of course it has no effect.

That's why there should be no SFDS LSDS LVDS and other randoms, only one "government" owned driving school with proper teachers that will dedicate in properly teaching the traffic laws.
And for passport, they shouldn't get asked whose the president or stuff, they should be asked some basic laws (constitution).

iDrive actually teaches a lot not just speed limits and driving around..
There were people like this before in ACA ARES but our kind veterans said they only do that to be admins in result of that they stopped as they don't care anymore.. :/

Exactly! How did we all start? We went along with experienced people and watched. I'm looking forward to a possible return of Freecops. I remember in RS4 how abusive they got and all, though I do remember the admin team getting almost completely on top of the abuse. I was never really bothered by freecops, yeah they were money hungry but you could use that to your advantage in the RP scenario and still, it was RP. No doubt there has been a significant drop in the amount of random Roleplay since the Police went anti-freecop. Still there needs to be strict enforcement, maybe with all the new stuff Argonath is getting implemented, there could be a script added so that wannabe cadets can actually sit an interactive exam about ARPD after reading through some rules and regulations and general info. I am so happy, these changes are the best thing that is happening to me. . Developers, keep up the good work and continue working on RS5 for it to be awesome so that everyone will like it.

Btw, if freecops are returning, finally, we don't need to be scared from robberies and kiddnapps and murders, now there are SAPD and freecops, yay, finally.

Let's hope they get exactly that, just like it used to be.

Freecops weren't any more abusive than your regular criminal copbaiting and abusing /helpmeup or something. Rulebreaking happens and it's not the freecop system's fault. I don't know where you're pulling this crap from that freecops used to reek havoc back in RS4 or something. They didn't, only some of them did and they were dealt with accordingly by the administration. Look how many criminals are in the unban request section nowadays, guess we should completely ban criminal groups now!

Freecops were and are an integral part of Argonath, and I hope they'll return in the format they were there for basically 7 years.

Nah, there should be some minor adjustments:

- Required passport and license to go on duty (filters out new players with no knowledge about server)
- On-duty volunteers must follow all of the SAPD regulations
- Failure to follow regulations and obvious misuse should result in a long long (if not permanent) copban.

-Most of SAPD regulations should be moved back to server rules, like they used to be in 2008.
-Failure to follow rules and misuse /duty should result in a long term ban.

I have decided how to suit this new system, it will take a bit longer to adapt.

- In order to go on "freecop duty", you will need to have a passport and a driving test.
- "Freecops" will be limited to the security guard skin (and a female skin).
- They will be armed with different weapons than SAPD officers (to be determined)
