Don't get me wrong I like a good role-play scene but with trucking nobody even wants to do it..I tried today and of course it didn't work out..Better to change something for it..

Okay so as a PD officer, we go around doing routine stops, 99% of Veteran known players pulled over, the newer players and kids who want to farm it just ignore and shout "go away or report" and then when you fire on their truck we get "reported". Put it this way, credit to the few that did role-play while trucking because I know there is quiet a few but the ones who caused this are the ones who have no appreciation for the actual reason for this and the server and just see it as a way to farm money to buy guns to kill one another.

Good, if you want to truck all day buy Euro Truck Simulator 2 and you'll have more fun than trucking on Argo. There's no roleplay in driving from city to city avoiding any living soul and refusing to stop no matter what happens, ignoring all attempts of rp.

Let's lock a discussion, yeah why not. The forums are there to discuss things like these 

To be honest, it is a valid concern that the trucking script is motivating for some due to the fact it easily creates money for those who only want to see a green number grow...
...but for those who want to roleplay with that kind of people are met with behavior that should never be displayed on a roleplaying server at all, and demotivates the roleplayers.

I do not want to be too offensive on this subject so I will leave the comment out that I wanted to place here. But note the following part of it instead:
You are on a roleplaying server, You are not immune to roleplay if you sit within a truck.

Trucking roleplay is a joke... I've never seen a trucker properly role playing one..  it's more like, drive here get money, drive there get more money etc...
If the police attempts to stop them, they either evade or insult them, i would say less then 20% actually cooperate in the roleplay.

RP with/as trucker is down to a minimum. But I am happy and so excited about the new trucking script that is being made about the stock system and already found it interesting only by the talks. Also it has hope about increasing the role play because of the interaction with the business owner and all that. I just hope it is going to be made and released as soon as possible.

Everything can be discussed with your imaginations. I can't and never did discuss being a trucker but tell me, if you can not discuss  being a trucker, no one else can not do it just because Mr.Belta Kelon don't know how to discuss with trucking? I'm sorry but you disappointed me.

There is no roleplaying involved in trucking, there hasn't been since the system was released. It was released premature, and we should have actually completed the business system before the trucking script was released, but due to demand the system was modified because the business stock system wasn't completed, and this is what we were left with.

If any of you honestly believe driving from check point to check point as roleplaying you're insane. Let's face it, the only roleplay that comes out of trucking currently is being pulled over by the police and even then it is questionable roleplay at best. The system needs to be scrapped completely and replaced when the business script is completely finished and then re-implement the system.

Totally agree. Perhaps removing trucking script will make other jobs popular and might see some diverse role play scenarios. Maybe some criminals will return because now they can RP eith other people rather than truckers, might boost the playercount even.

since it came out, nobody roleplayed trucker nor they have an intention to do so in the future. that leads us to only one conclusion and that's to remove the current one, work a little bit on it and release a new one where players cant just farm money 24/7 and act like thye are playing euro truck simulator
