The new policy of "interact a little then shoot" game that seems to be going on is pathetic. The only intention that should be when two groups, even rivals, is RP. If you can't do that or maintain that mentality then get out. As of this moment, to all groups the warnings are over, the tempbans are over. We've had enough honestly. You should always think about having a good, fun, and meaningful RP before you think of turning into some combat scene. Granted we do know this is GTA and combat is expected but the amount of times this happens now is entirely unaccepted. If we see it, we will ban and that ban will be maintained for a minimum of 3 months.

This goes without saying; it's up to group leaders to discipline their members on proper behaviour and roleplay etiquette. Your members represent your group, their actions reflect on your entire group if you fail to deal with those trouble making members.

This should have been the case from the start IMO. And it probably would have, had Aragorn not went away. I have said many times in the past - Many groups here today would not exist anymore had Aragorn stayed. This is because he was the type of guy who would not put up with this shit.

But yea, I guess it's better now than never though.

Everything depends on perspective, laterally this rule existed and applied from months(also in one case you were present), generally wasn't written anywhere, but admins did punish players for "lame RP". Now everything must apply equal to everyone, everywhere, including cops.

Everyone be like "finally, ty, good" but they have been a part of shootouts like that ingame 1000 times anyway. Don't get me wrong, I think shootouts are fun too and it shouldn't require 30 min of talking to pull one off. Just fun to see the double standards :D

I can understand groups who are enemies with each other will want to shoot out and attack rival members. Which in my eyes is fine, we're enemies for a reason, though there always must be a legitimate RP altercation or a motive for the kill(obviously) and I feel it's really important to warn of the shooting by doing simple things like "/me flicks the safety OFF on his weapon" before engaging in a shootout so people aren't caught whilst typing etc.

Also, I think groups should be working in each other to make being enemies fun and controlled on both ends, be in contact through /pm warning of things you're doing or setting up a batfight or controlled gun fight between your two groups, after all we're enemies IC, doesn't mean we're not friends out of roleplay. Again as said, a large majority of the responsibilities are on the leaders of groups.
