Disgusting server issues

There's a few new exploits going around samp which can explain the exact issues as you guys are describing. Not sure if it might be those or actual ddos attacks but just try to bare with it for now as no one can do anything about it.

If it is indeed SA-MP exploit based, than it's gonna be up to the Devs that created SA-MP, not just Argonath. I'd expect these kind of symptoms happening on other game servers, and expect to see a patch update like 0.3.8 soon.

If it was an exploit then half of SA-MP forums would already be spammed about it and half of the servers down, like that one time there was an exploit and the attackers took down every single server.
It's an attack on the other layers of the host, and it can be simply filtered out properly if Argonath was using a gaming dedicated server, https://www.ovh.co.uk/dedicated_servers/game/.
The other hosts will not filter out all the attacks that were specifically designed to take down a gaming server.

Not possible because Kye, MTA allows you to access the clients MAC but yeah.

Regrettably, mac spoofing also exists.

Just a note, the server randomly said:

"Vehicle script unloaded."
"Server closed connection."

Not sure if it's related to the attacks but a script randomly being 'unloaded' before the server goes offline sounds odd...

A viable solution against these kinds of attacks is in the works but won't be implemented until next year unfortunately.
