Issue has occurred with many of my games that I (well, used to, with those crashes) play on active basis (ETS2, Rocket League and some others).
After switching to a new display (34" 3440x1440), games just crash at quite random moments (gaming time can vary from 10 minutes to an hour), resulting in gray or brown screen and freezing. Some games (ETS2, for instance) just minimizes and when attempting to bring it back up, sound and controls work, however I am still being displayed desktop, whereas others just freeze completely and require Task Manager to close them.
ETS2 game log gives this error:
<ERROR> [dx9] Present failed. [0x88760874]Rocket League game log gives this error:
Log: Timed out while waiting for GPU to catch up. (500 ms)
I have attempted to close background processes due to possible focus loss, but it occurred even with all possible notification applications closed. I have tried three different versions of graphics drivers, with and without overclock.
Googling hasn't given much help so far. Usual multitasking works fine without any issues.
