I apologize if the topic name is.. misleading.

So, Whenever I boot up my PC. The network does not work. It shows me that yellow triangle thingy. Like the one in the image below (I used Prt Scr and then pasted it in Paint, apologies)

Spoiler for Hiden:

It happens every time, I boot up. And I have to reset my modem to the factory settings and then enter the details again to make it work. Can I get some help on this?

Dead Inside.

Did you try "Troubleshoot Problems"?
>Right Click.
>Troubleshoot Problems.
>Let it scan, and see what is the problem, and if solved.

I keep having this with windows8; with my laptop, the only deference between us that I use WiFi. "Troubleshoot Problems" usually fix it.

Troubleshoot says that Remote connection is not responding.

Did you try compatibility settings? Something is turned off in your settings, search in Device Manager, maybe you'll find a solution.

EDIT:
Right click on your "Computer", tap on Properties. A window would pop up, press on "Remote Settings". Check if the Remote Assistance Connections is enabled, if not, enable it and see.

I turned it on. I will post the results tomorrow. I don't want to restart my PC at the moment. :P

What modem do you use?
And what are the details you need to enter?

Its a Teracom TDSL300W2 Wireless Router.

And the details are the one's that are provided to me by the ISP. I have to setup the connection.

This seems to have fixed the issue. Though I will like to keep the topic open. Since it might occur again.

I can not think of any reason why this would be the culprit. My guess would have been the DHCP server failing. Depending on what error the Windows shows exactly.

Is it solved?

That remote settings worked for like 2-3 days and the connection was reset again. It's not a problem from the ISP side. And I am still having this problem.

- Are you connected via WiFi or cable?
- Does this occur on other computers/devices, that are also connected to that router?
- Does this happen on daily basis or after certain time (during usage for example)?
- Send me a picture of the connection details (Right click on the ethernet, network and sharing centre, click on the connection (Ethernet or WiFi), Details, take pic).

- Cable, It's a desktop.
- It does not happen to mobile phones.
- It occurs after I restart my PC, after a shut down.
