Hmm, looks like the auto-configuration is struggling a bit there.
In your "Local Area Connection Status" window, click "properties", click "Internet Protocol Version 4...", and then click properties on that. Set the following settings:
Use the following IP address:
IP Address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet mask: <Will automatically populate>
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Use the following DNS server addresses:
Preferred DNS server: 192.168.1.1 (This will use your ISPs DNS server, should configure itself)
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.8.8 (This is Google's DNS server in case your ISP one goes down)
