I have no idea what code/password you are talking about. I haven't reverted back to 8.1 as I had no issues with 10.

I've even heard that they snuck a forced Windows 10 update into a security update for people on Windows 7, and some peoples computers upgraded by themselves during shut down/restart, that is well wrong.

Settings > System > Sidebar 'Display' > Change the size of text, apps, and other items: xxx%.



Increasing it should increase icon size of task bar along with other desktop icons. Know that some icons may seem jagged as they are being stretched beyond the resolution they support.

The problems you mentioned is precisely why I switched to Linux.. you wouldn't believe how compatible Linux is these days. Whatever I shove into that SD slot or USB port, it recognizes, unlike Windows, which ignores the drive until you find a driver for it.. Not to mention that you can make Linux look whatever the hell you want, let alone resize the taskbar .
And it doesn't annoy me with intrusive updates....

Windows 10 ran generally fine on both of my computers. But after I heard about the spyware it sneaks into your computer, I've decided that I want to have my computer for myself, not for Microsoft to roam around.
