Chapter 4-3 : Trespass

The phone rang, waking the Wanderer from an otherwise restful sleep.
Mr Coronis? He immediately recognized the voice as Makala's.
Yeah....what's up Makala?
Well, I'm at Fort Carson Police Department. I'm invoking my right for a legal advisor to be present.
It's 7 o'clock in the morning... the Wanderer thought. I'll be right down.

After collecting himself, he drove down the street to the police station. A rather stoic looking suited man was standing outside waiting for his arrival. He looked like some fancy government official straight from the silver screen at Vinewood. Yeah, this can't be good. he thought. This wasn't a run of the mill sheriff of officer...this was somehow different.

They walked inside, and the Wanderer tried to keep Makala quiet. Howdy, officer..? he asked, pausing and waiting for a name.
Carter. AGENT Carter. he corrected the Wanderer as he turned on the camera.

After a short interview, it seemed Makala had trespassed inside the restricted and seemingly abandoned CIA Headquarter at The Big Ear with her Journey for some relaxation. Not much he could do about that charge. She ended up spending the night in jail and was released promptly the next morning.

The next morning, the Wanderer was awoken from an otherwise restful sleep...again. There was someone outside his trailer, and the sound of an engine he didn't recognize as one of his own. Heading outside, there was an unfamiliar car with two occupants, and a third person crouched down near his trailer.
Hey! the Wanderer shouted, already grumpy from a lack of restful sleep. This is private property....can I help you?
Oh, hey...didn't see you there. the man nervously said as he stood back up. I, uh, yeah, so...I dropped my contacts around here somewhere and was looking for them! He said and rushed back to the car. The driver shifted into gear and sped off.

The following morning, the Wanderer awoke from an otherwise restful sleep...yet again. There were several voices talking right outside his window. Agitated, he grabbed his deagle, cocked it and stormed outside.

....if you happen to see anything strange, don't hesitate to call us ASAP. the Wanderer heard as he rounded the corner, spotting the officer and tucking the gun behind his shirt. The officer nodded to the Wanderer, and returned to his car. His eyes still bloodshot from lack of sleep, locked onto Makala.

He wanted to know if we... she started to say to him.
You know, right now, I really don't give a s***. turning back and opening the door. Next person that wakes me up is getting a bullet in the leg. he warned and slammed the door behind him.

Chapter 4-4 : The Conecta Connection

A few weeks had passed and business was exploding throughout Bone Country and Fort Carson. The Nomads had seized their territory from the vast wastes and carved a paradise for outcasts. From welcoming arms, overnight it seemed, to a private group suspicious of outsiders, they worked on forging the relationships they had acquired in the month since the night heralded their arrival upon the Red Sands. Suddenly it was no longer a bragging right at the local bar to sling the term Nomad with association to whoever uttered the word.

No, it became more of a silent respect. A respectful nod or tip of the cap. Loyalties ran deep in San Andreas, the beating heart of its core. Nomads were no different. So when the call came from a Nomad to protect a Tierra Robada prize cash crop, motors turned. Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Choppers, and anything with a turning camshaft fired up, throttles open, all converging on a single location as fast as they could get there.

The green hills roared to life as rubber tore into earth. NOMAD-1, the fabled Black Buffalo spun to the side and provided cover for the other MC members running interfering as shots rang out, piercing the hull of the car.
A sniper, are you kidding me? Ramses angrily thought as he fired his deagle alongside his brothers in arms. The first vehicle was disable and the officers were taken down, and the swarm moved towards the sniper. It didn't take long to dispatch him from close range. After all, it wasn't like it was some video game the sniper could have just 360 no-scope'd.

The hills ran red with blood that day, and the crops were secured for preparation and shipment. Thanks to the combined efforts, that glorious victory would stay with the Nomads and Conecta Cartel XIII, and even though they weren't considered an MC, they sure as hell were Blood Brothers.

Chapter 4-5 : Flash Photography

Running for mayor was taking its' toll on the Wanderer. Discord and infighting about who to vote for in Las Venturas was becoming common, and nothing was getting accomplished. After long deliberation, the Wanderer went into the city to make a public statement...he would withdraw from the election. Ramses Noctis, the enforcer and Dassius Synra the mechanic were tasked to try boosting operations.

Makala stopped Ramses in Nomad Headquarters as they chatted about possible ways to accomplish this.
Well, we really need more people out there. Makala told him plainly.
Go ahead and call what Clergy you can for a meeting. We need to find someone...a little crazy....for this. he instructed.

The Clergy came together and they discussed possible watch points in the Red Sands and recruits....there was one, from Flint, that might fit the bill. A young pastor, Devon Taylor.

Dassius set up at a watch point. It didn't take long to spot a pair of desert workers near el Castillo del Diablo. One appeared to be a chemist of sorts. Suddenly, police swarmed the deserted town and a shootout erupted. The Chemists' partner was soon gunned down, as they were out numbered, 2 to 7, from what Dassius could tell as he snapped a few pictures. Police then closed in on the Chemist, and made the arrest. Suddenly, a Police Maverick touched down near him, blowing sand everywhere. He held up his camera and flashed his Argonath Express badge towards the officer. The look of disappointment from the officer was obvious, who seemed to have been late to the shootout.

Vaeldious will like this... Dassius thought as the Maverick flew off. Time to go develop this film.

Ramses, was actually successful in locating the young pastor. A quirky little guy, couldn't have been more than 5 foot tall. They headed to Bayside for some instructional training. The Pastor seemed to be doing decently, and caught on to the timing pretty quick. After training ended, Ramses pulled his Journey to the vantage point he favored, and began his work. While he was in the back, a shadow ran in front of the vehicle. He paused and peered into the darkness through the front window. Suddenly, the dark lit up to the flashes of a camera, pointed directly at him.

Son of a bitch... was all he could say when he flipped the headlights on, revealing Devon Taylor. The Pastor immediately bolted. Ramses jumped out of the Journey and gave a short foot chase. It was definitely the Pastor, Ramses saw, as the little figure climbed into his car and sped off. Well, this is going to be a problem... Ramses said as he watched the car race off. Vaeldious isn't gonna like this...

Chapter 4-6 : Last Rites

Ramses thought hard. V would be back soon, and he couldn't know about the fuck up with Devon. It'd ruin his reputation among the Nomads. So, he thought. Ah, Sopranos... he finally decided and called up some of his former associates in the Soprano Family. He met up with a few of 'em down by Willowfield and put the word out, looking for that Pastor.

Wasn't even an hour when Ramses got the callback.
Check the Cluckin' Bell near Fort Carson. was all the caller said before hanging up. Engines fired up and Ramses's crew made it to the location...when the little Pastor came out, with two buckets of chicken under each arm. Before he could drop them and run, Ramses and his crew had him.

The Road Crew brought him to a secluded location for interrogation. The Pastor kept insisting he knew nothing about a camera, or even the very training Ramses had given him. Sounds like a bold two-face lie to me. Ramses said as the Pastor was secured to a tombstone. And I can't stand liars. Ramses nodded to Makala, and without hesitation or remorse, she opened his neck with surgical precision.

Devon, still holding his neck compressing the blood loss, looked up from the ground.
I'll be seeing you in hell, I suppose. Ramses said to Devon, looking him directly in the eyes as if he was trying to see something.

Ramses looked down at him one last time before turning away. Burn him, he ordered.

He paused, looked over his shoulder and added, While he's still alive.
