Help with buying laptop

Hello guys, so I'm going to university soon and I want to buy a new laptop.

Budget: $850
RAM: At least 8gb or 4gb upgradable
Can handle atleast GTA and FIFA smoothly.
Screen size: 15" because I think that 17" is hugee(Yes or no?)

Currently eyeing an ASUS with GT 940M. Do you guys think GT940M is adequate for medium gaming?

Seeing that both of them are almost identical, does the processor make a huge difference?

Depends on the game really, GTA IV is fairly CPU dependent. They're both capable machines though.

Purely on spec, the Dell is better, the CPU and GPU are both better than the ASUS. I don't know what the model lines are like though, but purely on spec, yep, the Dell

They both have SSDs, so boot up and general computing experience should be excellent as well.

If you can afford the Asus Julio suggested it would be fine. Fair enough for GTA and Fifa.

Hmm guys one question, does VRAM makes any difference? because I found one with GTX950M 2GB and the other is GTX950M 4GB with like $30 price difference. Does it makes any significant change?
