What about voting system?

Same as last time except you don't need a house in a a specific city to vote in that city.  We may come up with a better option but right now everyone is free to vote for whichever mayor in whichever city regardless.  You just need to be a home owner or operate a active business.

Open to suggestions.

Vote via forum.

Similar to the moderator applications (it is not visible to the public). A user has one chance to vote and that's it. Multiple votes from the same person will result in their vote not counting. I know it's an ingame thing but this way it keeps everything calm and childproof.

Any ingame politics to be punishable if its talked about on /p. Last time it was hectic people throwing jabs at each other bla bla bla.

Any non-realistic roleplays whilst mayors are giving their speech to be punishable. Today was hectic for Caion's speech. I'd love or actually I'd pay to see some of these guys try do that in real life. How hard is it to sit down for 10 minutes and shut the fuck up?

We could use the house idea however the voter must of been living at that residence for 3 months minimum?

What about those who constantly are moving throughout San Andreas every month?

What about one vote per district, limited to Citizens via the Forum? Some players have houses in multiple districts

IE, because I have a passport, on the forum I may have 1 vote for LS, 1 vote for SF and 1 vote for LV? Perhaps a thread/topic for each candidate in a Poll. After the poll closes, each vote is then verified to be a singularly named player account(based on their Forum Profile info).

Guess who's back?

I don't like the idea of only allowing people to vote for one city, the problem we are going to have is trying to gain enough votes in smaller cities like San Fierro and Las Venturas while every votes for the mayor candidates in Los Santos.

I propose you open voting for a period of 6 days. Since the voting period is already set to 2 days. The idea behind having the voting period be 6 days, is you designate each city to a block of two days. Allow anyone who wants to vote the ability to in each city, but separate the days the voting period opens for each.

Example:
Los Santos Voting - Monday and Tuesday (Open to whomever so long as you own a house, or business)
San Fierro Voting - Wednesday and Thursday (Open to whomever so long as you own a house, or business)
Las Venturas Voting - Friday and Saturday (Open to whomever so long as you own a house, or business)

Sunday, voting results will be announced for all three cities on Sunday following the closing of the polls on Saturday evening for Las Venturas.

Are you referring to my protest? I actually based it on my real life experiences.

But my sexy dancing was good :(

On a more serious note, Caion's speech did okay for a political speech. The real challenge is dealing with disruptive protest activities, so aspiring Mayoral candidates might want to step up preparations in that aspect too.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

Good thing I don't have 12 forum accounts.

Hopefully there is a way to make one vote per IP, or you won't use polls but you will actually have to write down in the comments

Why we don't use the panel to vote? So we can verify the players and minimize the rate of cheating.

Ofcourse, this is up to the HQ and web development team. However, I think you can optimise and maximize the efficiency by using the panel. :)

Panel could be good, or at least associate it with active ingame names so we know that each person is only getting one vote. (minimum 8 hours over the past couple of months or something like that)
