Talking about the future but stuck in the past.. Not like winning unopposed is much of an accomplishment anyway, now is it? If you actually kept up with the election (I understand why you didn't you weren't really running) you'd have seen that I had a very, very low and in fact the absolute least number of invalid voters, some of our very own members who we didn't realise hadn't owned a property, some randoms who changed their votes ex post facto. Remember what we said about talking out of your ass? There you go again...

Again, outright untrue. All the different counts I've seen have shown you with in fact the biggest amount of invalid voters. The keyword in your posts here is 'we', indeed, you as a collective are derailing this topic with this toxic attitude of not being able to deal with loss. The same collective that represented over 70% of your inactive voters, which I'm sure all had very nice roleplay reasons to vote for you and saw how great of a candidate you were ingame.

Idk which counts you've seen but as the voting came to an end we were losing by up to 15 votes. According to the official results the mayor was 4 votes ahead. Yeah I use we since a lot of different people from a lot of different groups were involved in the entire campaign process and RP, none of which have even replied to this topic.. Not being able to deal with loss? Uokmate? Irrc it was the anti-Sam propagators and yourself, upon being offended when someone questioned your activity, who gave this topic a quality derail. Idk the exact number of inactive voters we got, but 70% seems like another thing you've pulled out of your ass. I won't go into the motives of all of our voters (chief of police, several cops, random people we've had few interactions with), though I am sure a good number of the voters did vote for us because we actually have a good platform (lots of small business providing RP diversification, ABA, ArgoWelfare, etc.).

Roleplay scenarios are fine, however come up with something original for a change. Every single event in the past months has been the target of some kind of assassination attempt.

So in short: not gonna happen today.

The decision was mostly taken in order to prevent people from screwing up the event for the sole reason of causing disaster or by using silly excuses as "i dont like this new mayor" to ruin it for all players that attend.

Given that rumors circulate about people planning such examples, it doesn't come off as a surprise that we look for ways to avoid them. Be glad we keep the events open to all instead of separate in a virtual world or so.

They only happen because one can fight three cops at a time. And it's extremely easy to pull off, simply RPG the guy. I agree on Marcel's decision not to allow these DURING the ceremony. What happens afterwards is the mayor's problem 'eh.
