Let's ignore all these people shitting on you and this whole you vs Teddy thing for now. I don't want to fight, I want to discuss.

You say you gave the no-blips thing a try, but since you also said nobody remembers, how can we know you're not just making up arguments to make people shut up? If nobody remembers, maybe there were not enough people testing it? If nobody remembers, maybe those that do remember have left the community a long time ago, and the community we have now is different and want something different? People change their minds, scripts change along with people. In 2010 taser did not work in Argonath. In 2016 it does.

If nobody remembers, can we please just try the no-blip thing one more time?

Then implement "designs" which are actually being asked for. You know, those small things people keep suggesting. Nobody said to implement it right now and make it permanent, rather make a topic, create a poll and see the outcome. You would be surprised. Here is some proper 2016 things which I noticed at the suggestion section, you should check it out more often.

I'd rather play with simple things like a proper load/store (both houses and vehicles), proper drug market system, more small jobs in order to generate more interaction, boombox, no blips etc but instead you add this turf thing which obviously isn't appreciated by anybody.

You keep talking about newbies but you never show up in-game to see what actually happens with them. The thing you can't understand is, most of them are brought here by the veterans you call them trolls hence the rest of 90 percent are hackers/ddosers and showing up just to ruin the fun of others. If you really wish to give it the TDM look just return the combat and it's all good.

Taser was made to work. It would have worked the same way in 2010, just the difference in opinion was that SAMP has its native weapons and we do not need to add any to it.
There are players in HQ who actually can remember the test and they agree with me.
When tested it was clear that it is impossible to catch a smart player running, even with a specified /area. It was possible for a player to hide within 50 meters of the cops and get away in time, this went on for about one hour.

And please understand that I do see the advantages. If you are RPing something where stealth is needed, players who use the minimap are ruining this. Funny that many people who have requested rules against metagaming and powergaming have no decond thoughts about using the minimap, which is an untilame form of metagaming.

Y'all must have forgotten who allows you to play here free of charge, and merely asks for donations to help with server cost, but still forks over money out of pocket to pay for the things we all enjoy in this community. Get it through your thick skulls that this isn't a democracy, and the man paying the bills gets to do whatever he pleases; and if y'all don't like that, you're more than welcome to go elsewhere and see how much developers in other communities actually listen to their player base for suggestions.

Grow up, and learn some respect, because judging by the majority of the post in this topic, their ain't a single one of you that have any sort of it.

YTeddy has been making references to me being in the way of policies for years, where as I have never stood against any of the changes that were made, even if I was sure they were leading to a drop in players. I trusted Devin and Teddy to see if things were not going right and reversing when needed. Instead whenever things get tought they resign and become inactive, now that the player count is getting up due to the new managers in HQ suddenly Teddy comes back and tries to stir thing up again.
Unfortunately Teddy never earned his position in HQ, he snuck in due to his knowledge of the hardware and scripts.

As for respect, I respect all players with a positive attitude, and am not afraid to throw those out who should have been outed years ago but who some in HQ are afraid to handle.
If that means SAMP will close, so be it. Argonath is more than one server and losing one server does not lose the community.

Now let me say that I also have a lot of respect for Teddy and his work. He is available at hours a normal person is asleep and has made more progress in one year than those before him in five. What I do not respect is his way to be bossy and trying to profiule himself as the guy who did everything I lacked.

RS5 as Teddy has re-made was based on MY ideas, and most of the policy changes were instigsated by me, even if Teddy fails to see that.
Not I put in a tiopic about RS5.3 that I would like to dee the gang territory system in working as I hav desinged it, and Teddy switches the same day to a system that has not been tested, not been evaluated for its purpose and make pklayers revolt.

Why do you blame me? Teddy is the one who decided to put it on , not me. Teddy is the one who in stead of testing and redesigning it first  put it on live server. Now he hopes that when he redesigns it he can take credit for something that I fucked up, while in reality he made the fuckup.

@Gandalf YOU are the owner of the server, YOU do whatever you want, YOU decide what is best and what's not. It's not anyones fault but yours, you're the reason that this community has been created, the reason of argonath existance and i'm thankfully for that, but things should be controled, and you're the owner, so do it. Do something for us. It's your server, every rule should be yours with the community approval.

Gandalf or Teddy added this script, doesn't really matter in my opinion, the only change it has made is a fancy colour on the minimap other than that, people already fight eachother whenever they see an enemy in their territory with or without this script.
You're not making a favour by playing on this server, people play games to have fun not to make fights. Gandalf and Teddy, you also need to stop this nonsense in public, you're both grownups and acting like children in a kindergarten, instead of making all these talks and "arguments" make some fucking action. Either find a solution and put out your differences or each one of you go on his own path, after all Gandalf owns this community, and HE is making a favour for us to play here for free. Doesn't take a rocket science to read through the forum, and understand the concerns that are on-going in the server, hell you usually get a play-by-play and a narrative which makes it entirely easy for someone to understand the concerns in this community, and being around for 7 years, I've been able to decipher information like that, you should try it sometime.

As for my own activity, I don't need to be active in-game to see the disrespect that goes on, on this forum, and if that is something that you are unable to recognize and understand, try paying attention in school usually that's a good start.

Where's the problem in that? Let smart players be elusive and hard-to-catch, that's the rewards of knowing the map, no? Considering that all players (both smart and not) have their blips hidden, it seems all fair from my point of view. If smart players know where to hide, other smart players will know where to look. If you are worried about new players not finding anyone to RP with, you can enable blips for players without passports.

All we're asking for is a chance. If you truly, truly believe it will not work, then what harm is it in trying once again?

I've made my peace and said what I needed to Gandalf, out of respect that I still do have for him I sent it privately. No need for a big public charade. We have our differences as it evident and it was irresponsible of me, and us, to take that out publicly.

Moving forward I strongly suggest everyone work on discussing the issues rather than the comical senseless fighting occurring here. If this server is to survive, people need to listen to one another more and insult a little less.
