WTF? Cops can search you for drugs?

As if being cop wasn't already easy. Now they can search you for drugs. Which means that they can just arrest almost everyone in SA.
They knew the exact number of drugs i had, i didn't even knew that.
That sucks. Can't we have our drugs up in our ass.
It is too easy for cops, they search you in 1 sec. Thats so unreal.
Anyway, it now sucks being a criminal.

Was it an admin who searched you by any chance ? because I haven't seen a command to see how many drugs you have on person, but do know admins can look.

But I do believe it would be a good idea to have a /search command for drugs but also a /store drug ammount command so you guys can store drugs at your house / business.

Few weeks ago a cop searched drugs on a suspect, and he asked me via pm to check him.. so i checked him and he had drugs on him, but he was saying no  :trust: i think the cops (at least the arpd) need a /search command

Police can jail you if you got more than 20 gram weed, and take you to jail or what ever. BUT if you see police you should could do /dropweed and run for your life and the 20 gram weed is gone and they dont fine anything

I just wrote a thread on ARPD forums adressing this situation. I refered to the Bill of rights, the 4th amendment. Heres a bit from the post i made:

"Ive seen policeofficers from the force and cadets that seem to have forgotten the 4th ammendment of the Bill of rights.

Fourth Amendment: guards against searches, arrests, and seizures of property without a specific warrant or a "probable cause" to believe a crime has been committed. Some rights to privacy have been inferred from this amendment and others by the Supreme Court.

Dont search a person or his affects without a warrant or probable cause. I will make some examples:

Officer Dirty sees a man on the street. The officer refer the man to be standing in a criminal area or maybe a "drugspot". Without further evidence the officer searches the man against his will. Wether he finds drugs or not, he violated this mans rights and the evidence he found cant be used in a court of law.

To have made this search legal he would have to ask his superior or a judge to get a warrant. He can also get an "automatic warrant", the probable cause clausul. If the policeman sticks around and observes the man he might find reason that he is infact committing crimes, evesdropping on conversations, seeing drugs change owners etc. If the policeman witness a drugdeal he have all the evidence he need to search the man. This also concerns people using drugs in a public place."

But wether using admin commands to search i dont want to comment. But the /search command is a good idea and maybe we could have it tested with ARPD officers, since cadets probably would only abuse it.

I was thinking if u wanted to RP a search, but u can also do the real search if ur an admin and thats the problem isnt it.
