Fear of death

Right I had a ton of suggestions, but I forgot em. Here's one.

People don't fear death. If you threaten somebody to give over a property to you, they won't listen. They'd rather spend $250 for the hospital fees and the fun of being chased instead of giving an 800k worth of property over to somebody. Unless we kick $250x3200 worth of shit out of him, so it'd be not worth it, we won't get that property. Irl many people would save the hassle, maybe give it over.
Here's another example; a guy can be surrounded by 20mil cops in a circle, no car, stubby. He won't /sur, because /jail now takes all your fuckin' weapons so it's practically POINTLESS. Everybody'd rather get shot and killed, rather than /sur and roleplay. Now, I can go rambling on about this but I'll get to da point.

What if we make people spend time in the hospital, like falling or an accidental death like a carcrash will be the minimum time, and drowning will be a little more, but a headshot with an assault rifle or similar or a chainsaw blade on you might be the longest time. Sure that ain't enough fear for 800k worth of property, but still then people fear death. Atleast a little longer.
Don't raise the hospital fees, btw.
If you won't add this idea, just THINK of an idea which is good enough so people would fear death, please.

The point of ideas like this is to first see what the others will think and to make it satisfy everyone. 
In the case of not 'fearing death', it is either bad roleplay from the other side or just power gaming which is forbidden. Why not give people some kind of incentive to fear death instead? Although I do believe the punishment for being jailed should be discussed over again, because it's difference from death is just not losing 250$.

There is no such way to get people to fear death.

As krys mentioned, the problem lies in the community, not the script.

Criminals don't fear death unless they just did a bank heist and are carrying 50k. Some cops think that their death is irrelevant since they can return anyway.

The fear of death only comes in to play when you truly have something to lose, and all of that is already scripted with the loss of your entire inventory on death (with exception of phone etc) along with medical bills.

Only way we, as the developers, can add to that is by increasing the medical bills but that would screw over newer players rather than affect regulars in any way. Unless it uses a % of your bank balance.

What is there more to lose than what you currently do tho'? Your phone? lol

That'd get tedious to constantly buying back your phone which is why we decided it won't drop in the first place.

I'm afraid there really is no other way to start fearing death except players starting to do so themselves and value life more in the server.
