New year, new era for groups.

If you have a group on Argonath and wish to advance with it, I'd suggest you to slowly read through this whole topic, make sure you read everything.
With the the progress and changes within Argonath every year, we've come across dozens of groups, if not hundreds. Some of them come and go and some stick by in the history of Argonath with either their unique role play or unique style of getting punished on daily basis.
The server have had statuses for active groups for a long time, as for RS4's era we've had Corleone, Stracci, Gvardia and Ancelotti being a few of the official groups within the server till the demise of the game mode and that's where every group was set back to regular statuses. We've made a new system with few features such us additional group vehicle slots, free vehicles, a free HQ and even a mapped HQ. We've also had the new drug market script where criminal groups can sell their drugs for a higher price than regular criminal groups, and can also sell higher amounts.

With the coming year of 2018, we've decided to set all groups back to a normal status and give all groups, whether they are newly made (even if they do not have /group in game) or old group, a chance. They will be put under 1 month supervision and new recognized and official groups will be decided after a meeting with all staff members; All types of groups can apply for the status, whether you are a criminal group, a business group, a clan or just a group of friends together in a group. Now the question that arises, why is HQ putting all groups back to regular status? It's for the simple fact to give everyone a fair chance with this new system that we're coming up with and sharing it to the community as for the past few years, statuses have been just "statuses", the server haven't really given much support to its group as the groups themselves giving to the server which is why we are trying to make sure that the groups know that we do appreciate them, and that we do understand they're core of this server, if you reach a status within our server, you are part of the server, you are part of Argonath SA:MP, with this new system we want  to try and keep groups motivated to stay around, give them a reason to grow stronger and better, giving them an actual goal to achieve rather than just aiming to be the strongest, richest group. It is also to make sure that the groups keep working, even if they've already got a status, we want them to keep working, and keep growing, and for that, we want to reward them.

What we expect from the groups, and not just for 1 month but for the future. To show not only high activity but also unique role play, we want you to show things that we do not see every day, we want to see what makes you different, what makes you special, what makes you, you. (Something other than the casual robberies, kidnappings and growing weed.), and if you are able to show us something different, something that makes you unique, but also something that we, as the server, even as the community can benefit from, then we want you to know that we do appreciate you, and that we want to reward you for that. We'd like each group to be posting their progress in terms of role play  and business on their topic(s), whether it is criminal or legal, the more we see, the easier it is for us to distinguish you from others, but also, the more we can see, the more others can see, and that is how you gain respect, authority, and also pride.
We also expect you to be following the rules; behavior and general attitude towards new and old players will be taken in consideration and this might even be one of the most important things we look at while planning to give someone a status, is their attitude towards others. You having a status means you represent the community with your group, and we expect groups that we give a status to make little to no mistakes regarding the rules of the server. While we understand no ones perfect, we expect you to pick your members carefully, and to own up for the mistakes you or your members make, honesty is key.
 
The ideas that we will be having as a support for groups will be like the following;

• Recognized criminal groups:

As for the recognized criminal groups they will be having a bonus in the drug prices, additional vehicle slots and free headquarters. Additionally, they'll have priority in custom maps for groups, and can request changes in systems that currently exist (So to be clear on this, not new systems!) directly to HQ.

• Recognized business/ legal groups/ clans:

The same for the business and legal groups but they wont be able to access the drug market. How ever they will be able to get 2 slots for special vehicles (it can be any vehicle in SA:MP, with the exception of vehicles that can directly harm others or the server.) which can be changed it at any time, business groups also will be getting financial support from the government for their active RPing members (The amount of money will be decided by the server HQ, not by the group leaders, if you wish to give more than that you'll have to pay out of your own pocket!). Recognized businesses can also request additional mapping, with a priority. As well as request changes in current scripts (So to be clear on this, not new systems!) directly to HQ.

• Official criminal groups:

Adding to the above, official criminal groups can get few more vehicle slots, higher bonus in the drug prices. Official criminal groups also have the ability to request 2 special vehicles, on the addition to their maximum amount of vehicles, that they can request to be changed at any time, these vehicles can be special vehicles, and will be set by server HQ.
Additionally, official groups can request small scripts, and additional mapping, of course the priority lays with global scripts for the server, how ever, scripts that do not give an advantage over other groups, but merely add to the role play of a group can be requested, and mapping all over the server can be requested (With a limitation on objects of course, official groups will have high priority within mapping, and can expect their maps to be added within 2 weeks, depending on the activity of our mapping team)

• Official business/ legal groups/ clans :

The same for business and legal groups but the drugs of course however, business groups will have better financial support for their group. Official groups also have the ability to request 2 special vehicles, on the addition to their maximum amount of vehicles, that they can request to be changed at any time, these vehicles can be special vehicles, and will be set by server HQ.

Questions and answers

Q1: Does the the status purge include current recognised and official groups?
A1: Yes, like we've mentioned, we want to give all groups a chance with this new system however current recognized and official groups will be having 75% higher chance in terms of getting their status back but they should be stepping up their game to be reconsidered and keep in mind that there's that 25% that you might not get it back, depending on the circumstances of course. The reason we're purging current groups is that we feel that all groups should be given a fair, fresh start in showing what they're capable of, while also having to work for it. Do note that any group that was previously recognized has a high chance in actually getting official, if they of course show us what we want to see from them.


Q2: What kind of special vehicles are we talking about? Do we keep them forever?
A2: Special vehicles like AT-400, andromada, dozer, dumper; you can request any manager to give you these vehicles in the two slots and you will be able to keep them (unless you lost status of course) and you will be also able to change these vehicles at any time you wish, you just have to request it from a manager.

Q3: How much money will business groups be getting?
A3: That depends on a lot of things that we need to discuss first such as amount of members, activity of the group, punishment history of the group etc..

Q4: Why all these sudden changes now? Why hasn't this decided earlier?
A4: We've reviewed the server's history with activity and revised groups and we've realized that as much as groups have given the server, the server didn't give them much back and as we all know, the server's activity is based on players and for the players to stay they need goals to achieve, things to work for, and of course to be able to have fun with friends and thus we've created this new system to offer as much as we can to our players, and reward them for their hard work. Other systems have been trialed over the years,
 but most did not work, we believe that this system gives a fair work-return.

If you believe your group is eligible for a status, and wish to request staff, HQ, and the community to review your group, please make sure you read through this whole topic. and reply with the format shown below.
Something else that's important we want to make sure that the we pick the right groups, and the right people, do you see a group reply on this topic, believing they deserve the status, but you think they do not deserve being part of the back bone of the server, please PM Brian(Click here!) with why that is, in a proper, professional format of your own choosing, do not try to put groups in a bad light, share what you need to share, and leave it at that.
Replying to this topic in a negative way to any group, while your group is applying for a status (Even if you're just a regular member, or an associate) will most likely get your group instantly denied for a status, so make sure you play by the book.

Information regarding the format
Q1: If your group has a full name, and a short, provide both, if your group name is different than your in-game tag, provide in-game tag too with clear description what is what.
Q2: Type of group stands for the type of role play the group provides, is it a business style taxi company, a criminal mafia RPing Italian style. We want a full description of the type of group you are role playing!
Q3: All the leaders in your group (Acting leaders if there's one), this includes everyone in the highest position within the group, but also anyone that is in charge of certain parts of the group, I.E recruitment, define who does what properly!

• Group Leaders: Kenawa Soprano,the current leader of Soprano Family who's taking major decisions for the family based on the performance of the family.  Rei Soprano, the right hand of Kenawa Soprano,observing Soprano members and Soprano activities. Denis Soprano just like Rei, he observes and motivates the members by leading them in a proper way, also deals with the recruitments.

  iKhmSforza- iKhm specializes in making the group in its best. Any idea that comes up, he is there to make it better and purify the work.
  AidenSforza- Aiden is in charge of the business aspects of the Sforza Enterprises, together with Boris Sforza. Both of them are here to see the defaults of the way the Sforza Enterprises acts, command on it, and sick for solutions.
  MikiSforza- Miki is in charge of the Forza Autos. Anything to do with car selling or purchasing goes through him.
  YairSforza- Yair is the man of the ideas. He is the one who suggests new activities that the Sforza Enterprises should be doing.
  BorisSforza- Boris is in charge of the Sforza Bank, together with the S' Games. Any loan requests or finical business goes through Boris. But the Bank, Boris also took the lead of a lottery game, which was played once from its begging and showed great success.
  JenniferSforza- Jennifer is the face of Sforza Enterprises. Thanks to Jennifer, we are able to show our activities to the public in the most decorative and unique ways.

Officially we're a legal company, but under the surface we're deeply involved in criminal activities such as drug deals, hitman contracts and other things. We do however still have our legal part where we sell mashed potatoes, impound services and much more. We offer money to our workers if they do an actual RP and fill in a work report.

  The Gvardia Corporation: The base of our legal organisations and activities. Also known as the most longstanding Corporation in Argonath's history and arguably the most wealthiest consisting of a wide range of companies and projects.

  Don: Antonio Gvardia. The leader of the whole organisation and basically in charge of everything and anything having to do with the group.

  Boss: Tommy Gvardia (inactive): The Don's right hand, has similar responsibilities to the Don, but main focus is also on the Syndicate.
  Capo: Kenji Gvardia. Leader of mainly, but not limited to, the Syndicate. Mainly in charge of the recruitment program and the dirty business.
  Brigadiers: Jeremy and Viktor Gvardia: Mainly aid the Capo in recruitments, in which the Capo makes the decisions based on their suggestions.
