LIBERTY STATE AGAINST ABDOU

SECTION I. SUMMARY
The Crime Investigation Unit has launched an operation against illegal items (drugs & illegal weapons). It has found that the defendant sold illegal war grade weapons to our detectives. Also, after a performed check, we found that the defendant doesn't possess a proper license.


SECTION II. ACTS VIOLATED
All acts below are stated in the Laws of Liberty City.

Act 10.3
Remington model 1100 TAC 4 Combat shotgun, SW MP-10 submachine gun, AK-47, M4A1 and PSG-1 are classified as military-class weapons and only Law Enforcers are permitted to possess and operate these, and only when performing their duties.

Act 10.5
A person is not allowed to import, export, transport, manufacture, sell, promote, buy or give or receive a weapon from or to another person. Such person would be guilty of illegal firearms trafficking.
Exception is for registered weapon dealers approved by the court.

Act 10.6
Acts 10.4 and 10.5 are punishable by up to 8 minutes of jail.

Possession of war grade weapon without a proper license.

Charge #2:
Selling of war grade weapon without a proper license.

Demand #1:
5 minutes of imprisonment as of Act. 10.6. (Lowered due to the shown collaboration from the defendant)

Demand #2:
A 8,000 ARD fine.

Subject: Reply and questions to the both Departements

Im Mr ABDOU and I accept all the charges in section IV. but in section II you said that the M4/COMBAT-SHOTGUN/AK-47..ect are classified as military rank guns, and civilians arent allowed to buy/sell/use it , so why I/we can easly find it at every guns store in LC ? if Its illegal to be used by the civillians so remove it from the stores! and you will not find it anymore in the streets .
I want to see LCPD working against the biggest Guns dealers in LC not against small dealers who sell this illegal things to live , because LC didnt gimme a chance when i was new in the city to find a job ,so I had to start trading and selling illegal things.
In the end , I want to say that the majority of people who I sold the guns to them they used it for SELF-DEFENCE not for TERRORISM or CRIMES and I quitted that carreer when I found a legal job and I am not doing it anymore.

The Jury of the Liberty City, would like to clarify for the defendant ABDOU, why his way of thinking is alright and has full support of the court.

As both parties mentioned its clear what Military grade weapons are by law.

How ever there are 3 gun stores that are court approved and can sell any type of weapons including military grade guns, the guns stores are following:
Dillon St. Montauk Ammu-nation
Cavity Lane, Bismarck Ave Ammu-nation
Odhner Ave, Traeger road Ammu-nation

Act 10.5
A person is not allowed to import, export, transport, manufacture, sell, promote, buy or give or receive a weapon from or to another person. Such person would be guilty of illegal firearms trafficking.

As of now, all three known ammu-nation stores are registered weapon dealers. These are the following:

• Dillon St. Montauk Ammu-nation
• Cavity Lane, Bismarck Ave Ammu-nation
• Odhner Ave, Traeger road Ammu-nation

This means they are now allowed to do what act. 10.5 says. However, be aware that act 10.3 and act 10.4 are very much alive. Individuals cannot possess and sell the illegal weapons and can be prosecuted for this. Also new weapon dealers have to get permission from the court to sell the weapons stated in act 10.3.

The three ammu-nations stated above are already known weapon dealers for a long time and they have proven their service to the state. They are therefor registered weapon dealers from now on.

I'd like to thank the LCPD for acting quickly on this. They are the real protectors of Liberty City.

Case dismissed.

If a gun store is found selling military grade guns LCPD should be notified as they will take steps against the illegal sale of guns.

The court has noted the statement of the defendant where he admitted guilt for all charges of LCPD.

The Jury will vote and get back once we agree on terms.

Dear Mr the Spokesman of Liberty City Jury Mane Jugovic , you said " there are 3 gun stores that are court approved and can sell any type of weapons including military grade guns, the guns stores are following:

Odhner Ave, Traeger road Ammu-nation" , so you mean that I can go to one of that 3 stores and buy a ranked gun . But yesterday I went to "Dillon St. Montauk Ammu-nation" guns store and I bought a COMBAT-SHOOTGUN , after a few seconds a ranked cop followed me and pulled me over and after the investigation he took the COMBAT-SHOOTGUN from me because it is a ranked gun . So why the store is selling the gun if the LCPD dont allow  me to buy it from a licenced shop? I mean , "Is it legal to sell it but its illegal to buy it?". Is it like the pornography web sites when they say that this a web site for adultes +18 but a kid of 10 years old can acces to it easly? ( sorry for my example but its the best example that I have).

Indeed, the 3 stores are allowed to sell those guns in a legal way, but re selling and buying or owning one of the military grade guns is a crime.

You have G6 case, where we can see what a law abiding security company has to do and what guns they can use, same rules apply to cvilans.

As far as i know LCPD monitored you for illegal gun trade, don't kick the ball to neighbors yard and claim you are the victim here.

LCPD is not responsible for what approved in court.

But yesterday I went to "Dillon St. Montauk Ammu-nation" guns store and I bought a COMBAT-SHOOTGUN

The Crime Investigation Unit members are putting on their best commitment on the search of those illegal shops.
However you would not have told us if we weren't going to sue you. We call this a conspiratorial act.
Also, you were selling them to god knows who. You did not care to ask, we could be two terrorists.
If we stop the tape at minute 10:42 we clearly hear one of the detectives saying "Just wish us a good robbery" and you were totally careless.
What do you have to say about this?

Dear Mr the Spokesman of Liberty City Jury Mane Jugovic , Thanks for the Illustration . I can now understand why the stores are selling that Guns, But I want to comment and say that its illogical to sell that type of guns in the same shop with Self-defence guns, because new comers to LC may not know that they cant use/buy that type of guns.
 Second, I would say thanks for the advice , Sir. I wont use that type of guns or buy it anymore.
 Finally, I hope that you understand that I admited on all the charges, but please if you could down the demends or remove one of it , I can guarantee for you and for LC that I will not come back to that illegal activities.

Dear Mr Steven Seagal LCPD Captain / CIU Inspector, as I said in my 1st reply " I want to say that the majority of people who I sold the guns to them they used it for SELF-DEFENCE not for TERRORISM or CRIMES" I said THE-MAJORITY not ALL, and I know that because I knew the persons who I was selling to them and they wasnt criminals they was civillians looking for cheap DEFENC-EQUIPMENTS and I afforded that . And about the guys who said "Just wish us a good robbery" and I didnt care about what they said , because I didnt want to lose customers , what did you think I will say  ? you thought that I will say " Go to LC prison and guard it and dont let any prisoner escape"? I didnt answer because I didnt want to lose a customer and they was one of my last customers because I found a legal job and I didnt want to continue as a criminal, I decided to be a good civillian!

The Jury of the Liberty City, has reached a verdict in this case, due to cooperation of the defendant and a fast plea of guilt.
And in light of this being the first offence in court of the defendant, the jury has decided to cut the demands of the LCPD by 1/3.

The defendant has been found guilty on all charges, demands that are to be carried out as soon as possible are:

Demand #1 5 minutes of imprisonment as of Act. 10.6. (Lowered due to the shown collaboration from the defendant) has been futher lowered to 3min of jail time.

Demand #2: A 8,000 ARD fine. Has been lowered to 5400 ARD.
