Will more maps come soon (not in a year or so) or is the server mainly focused on SAPD?

More coming but recently, only criminal groups got new maps so this is like the 1st in a year/months for cops.

The last map SAPD received was in 2016 by Steven Kolta which is current SWAT HQ and ASB building. So it's pretty much not "focused on SAPD"..

edit: map was under development on 3th of September 2015 and added by November-December (got a screenshot saying December 24th) - Just for the record

we need a taxi driver inside lspd
That is why I suggested golf carts :D

I believe Argonath will be back as soon as the exams are over.
SA:MP server is currently in a decent state with a stable player base of around 20-25 people on a daily basis.

Currently two of our mappers are tasked to rework all government interiors, LSPD was just the first to be worked on, I am personally already working on a new FD station.

I've added 5 new maps in to the server all based on requests of players made by our mappers last Wednesday, with 5 more to come this weekend.

Can we know their ids?

it's impossible to learn to roleplay with 0 players.

Can't quote everyone so I'll just try to fit everything in few phrases:

Yes, I know it is not lit enough yet, it's just sneak peaks, doesn't mean it's done, by far it's 85 percent done but detailing it will take lots of nerves and objects.
As for the size and "impracticability, a lot of groups have so many vehicles that almost never make use of, there is a large variety of guns available but everyone uses M4 and Deagle mostly and so on, so your arguments are totally invalid.
And yes, personally I'm onto the Governmental mapping this year, meaning LSPD and FBI and some undisclosed projects I can't talk about as they serve part of a huge update, and even if I have work IRL and got so many positions to handle IG, I'll make sure to deliver quality works to you all, and so do the others, as Argonath deserves a total makeover for a reborn, because no matter how low the player count ever goes, it always rises back.
Stay tuned, I'll have a development topic made!

This makes zero sense. :uhm:

Instead of pointing out the flaws in your examples, I will go into detail as to what I meant. I was talking about how long it would take for officers to walk in side to get on duty. How long to get to briefing/investigation rooms etc. It shouldn't be made so distances are such that everyone is bunny hopping or running to where they need to be to reach in a reasonable time.

Have you seen the duty point? Have you seen the briefing room? No, you didn't, I don't understand why you presume stuff without having a bit of knowledge into it. For your info, it takes by running (NOT sprinting) around 8 seconds to get to duty point, 9 to briefing room and 10 to armory. The map was made in such a way that the stuff needed to be accessed quick is close at hand, while the matters requiring intensive roleplay are indeed placed at quite a distance, but that doesn't mean it is unpleasant, as, again, it's just a SNEAK PEAK, not FINAL version, there is hella lot more to add.

An attitude and bitchfit is not required to make and explain simple points saying that you have considered how close things are and that it won't be a problem. If you can't handle constructive criticism or points being made which should be considered when making a map then don't make this topic.

Nevertheless, I think over 5 seconds with running is pretty long because mostly people like to walk when they bring suspects in instead of running which is why I don't agree with having long distances. At least the investigation/processing room should be no more than 5 seconds running.

Keep in mind that you guys just saw few snippets, pictures didn't define where duty point will be or the offices or even the locker and like stated few posts above it is incomplete. So please, ask questions of what is what instead of giving negative remarks.

Is it safe to assume you'll have a "public" entrance point, and a "staff only" entrance point?

Overall, I like the concept. It mimics the size of what a real department the size of what the LSPD is should have on the inside. A nice addition to the server, keep up the good work looking forward to the finished product.
