   As much as Argonath seems like a plague or a cancer that you can't get rid of, and unsure if it's a good thing or not, people tend in Argonath's "dead periods" to look for other servers until it gets back alive, and let's be serious, Argonath can't die, don't ask me why, don't ask anyone why because there's no definitive answer, it just resurrects out of nowhere after a while.
   A thing I don't understand is that the Forum is very active and everyone complains about Argonath being dead but they're still online on the Forums saying that "Well don't blame me I'm just waiting for it to get back alive" or people playing that Mudoo Community or whatever it is called and just coming back to pay their taxes then going back there, saying that they play other servers until Argo gets back on its feet.
   Without meaning harm to anyone or insulting them, this is bullshit. It's the exact same logic as "I won't lift that litter off the sidewalk, someone else will" or "Surely there's someone that can help that old lady cross the street, I'm in a hurry to have some beers, way more important". This is the "Why should I do it when others can do it?" I'd say that people no longer care for Argonath and just stay on Forums or play other servers and that's totally fine, it's their own choice wether they wish to play Argo or not, but coming back to pay taxes and moaning on Forums while waiting for others to get it back active is not the way to go. It should be something more like "If others don't do it, why don't I do it?" Coming back once in a while to pay some petty taxes so you don't lose your properties or hanging around means you still care, and if you still care you should try to invest some time into the server itself, help the playerbase grow just by logging in, not moaning that there are no players and that Argonath is shit. People still call Argonath utter bullshit but come back to pay taxes, what the fuck? That's utter hypocrisy.
   What I mean to say is, if you, people, still care for this Community, act more and talk less, then you'll see results.

Talking for myself, ever since i got unbanned i did motivate other players to return and create some activity on the server, Our first days were amazing having quality roleplays with different groups and having fun together without breaking a rule.

Most of what you said is true, On the other hand there are SOME players who keep shitting on other players just because they have the powers to do so, with the 15 players who daily come online to roleplay are a perfect example for helping the server to raise again. Yet we still have problems with communication, why would admins PUNISH instantly without showing the faults of  which a player commit? It shows how irresponsible those admins are, some of those admins left and some still exist, YES we do mistakes but we should be taught on how to avoid them next time, not to create hate. ( im not talking about my ban ONLY )

Everyone should be having a chance to play fairly, those players who join JUST to pay taxes are nothing but a gold diggers, this community is unique and most of players hate causes are either a property or because a specific group got mistreated by a staff member.


My suggestion is to give Argonath another chance by
1)Choosing the staff members carefully who can be fair and give ONLY necessary punishments.
2)Every player should own a specific amount of properties, so others can get the chance to own something and create A THING while owning.

Thanks for saying it, but I don't see how this wasn't 100% obvious from the beginning. The fact is, in life...some people are not going to get along with others. People do things differently and as long as you have friends you will always have a varying amount of haters. This is even more the case in Argonath as a result of the player base being from different areas of the globe (cultures and ideals clashing).

The people that hardly play here anymore think that they are protesting for one or many reasons that made them leave in the first place. In reality, they know that this server always eventually delivers over and above any alternative server of this kind. It's why they never truly leave. And it's why they never will.

It's not the first time we been through this and it wont be the last. Many friends of mine consider coming back when V MP is ready, rest are just tired of SA:MP.. I mean come on, it's 12 years old mod.. For the rest of us remaining, 6/10 players just join to grow their drugs repository and refrain from having any contact with rest people which is kinda sad. We'll go through this again, and we will get back on our feet soon.. #MAGA

I hate seeing people just say 'server dead' who do not even pay a visit. Yes, server will remain like that unless you decide to get your ass in game duh..

I'd personally like to see a much newer platform take over as primary.

San Andreas was released in 2004, and as Rock said, SA:MP was a couple of years later. I'd say it took a couple of years for SA:MP in general to get its shit together and stop crashing, but by 2010 it was going strong and relatively stable. (I do wish lag compensation on shooting came about sooner though, must admit).

IV:MP hasn't had that same solid based or max player count that SA:MP brought to the table, so I'd like to see FiveM increase its slot limit etc. At the time of SA:MP release though, Rockstar didn't really have a multiplayer platform for San Andreas, so any new mod now will always compete with GTA Online etc.

That being said, I'd say most gamers want a platform that's relatively modern, and though SA:MP is fun, to say the graphics are "outdated" would be somewhat understating it.

I game very little at the moment, so when I do get a chance I tend to hop on a console and party up with my bro + RL friends on something like Rocket League or Warframe, a more modern platform would definitely interest my friends a lot more.

Yeah most don't want to give the first push that is necessary for a comeback but honestly some are just avoiding due to them still having issues with the current situation in one way or another but they still have hope it will be fixed some day so they keep track of properties and visit from time to time.
For those who don't have any issues, clearly this topic is for you you gotta understand that there is a small amount of players that are willing to log into a dead server to raise it up and they log in daily if 10-15 players ain't good for you so say good bye to the server because those 10-15 are the exact small percentage that is willing to give the first push while you are a part of around 40 players if not more that want Argonath  back  but aren't willing to do shit about it other then wait and complain.

@Waka_Flocka  I'm not really around but from a side look it might be that shit went more rough because now there is a fair amount of admins on a little amount of players which means that eyes are around everywhere and even the smallest punishments aren't tolerated but again idk I simply talk from outside I don't see anything but I think it's a point you may consider if out of 10-15 players active 2 rulebreak or for example idk 4 so they will be very visible and clearly not tolerated even slightly due to the transparency.

The only staff members who still care are a few admins, one manager and the two scripters. Others are just doing nothing and probably playing in rcrp or lsrp because why tf not??

i dont join the samp server to pay taxes. its been years since i logged in, but i started checking the forums again when argonath fivem was announced. its been a while now, we still got no news on the fivem server. (hopefully not abandoned or got lazy or working on other interesting stuff such as the 'constitution' lol)

HQ should focus on building the fivem server rather than banning players for petty issues.

nobody wants to play samp, its a dead game, understand it please. only players with low end pc play it coz they have no other option. SURE u may keep the samp server running, but prioritize on fivem as of now. its the only hope

dont give me that crap that samp servers are still running strong with 1000 playrs online, we all know about the russian bots.

im putting so much of my time in argo forums coz i love this community. and NO I DO NOT PLAY IN ANY OTHER SERVER. the sense of freedom i got in argonath is incomparable and i want it again in FIVEM.
