In all seriousness, since most of you SA:MP buddies hate on Kessu for muting your ass on forums for obvious bullshitting content, why don't you just focus on what he has to say for once and improve the server you supposedly love?

I love the order you put that in. If you are so hell-bent on saving the server, where were you earlier this year? When these things were still relevant and it would had been way easier than it will be now?

This is not a problem from earlier this year. I stopped playing RS4 to play RS5 Beta. I was playing SAMP when my friends moved to MTASA. I was making deals about selling drugs on forum PM because that's how scared people were to log In-Game when RS5 was released. And yet, through many HQs, many developer teams, many single developers, the playerbase has been active on the forum, but hesitant to log in game because of the poor numbers. And no "get IG be the example" is going to fix that. New players can, because they don't know the peak hours, they don't want a server with numbers of an LS based server, or they just want to try something new. If you think that placing the server on hosted tab is going to save the server then I don't know what to say to you. And how stupid do you have to be to get baited by Bennzy Trapani lol

Pathetic. Instead of crying and blaming eachother for something, go to the server and play there, thats why we are here, not to cry like a 5 year old kid who lost his pink balloon.
Hosted tab doesnt solve anything. Server has been in hosted tab list in past 3 years about 25 months and the only thing is, it never bring the new players (for the roleplaying server). If we watch the statistics we can find 1(barely) player who starts playing on the server after 400 banned hackers and new registred users. I can set us back there but its a waste of money, ive seen that.

I think the best form of action is what was mentioned by chase, To wait until the server updates are put in place and the new players have something to occupy and help guide them into the server, rather than the off chance a player who is skilled enough to teach somebody is online.

Every rational person would understand it's useless to get more people into a chaotic place, scripters will take time but lets face it you don't need scripts to RP RS4 was barely having proper scripts and I can enjoy /me only existing even RS5 currently has much more RP supporting scripts then we ever had it's all about players/veterans/staff/HQ and if we don't close our eyes and face it each of these has a problem inside of it.

 @Grimbeorn  tbh if it were up to me, I'd spend money on hiring some of the old scripters to help out for a few months until everything is in place. The place needs it.

Edit: Thoughts on the hosted tab also. I don't think money is an issue anymore. All of us are grown ass men that can probably chip in $20 a month to make it work. I think we just need to see some initiative?

Its not a waste of money if there's some initiative to follow the host tab with a good plan and organisation, with full activities on all fronts. Script wise, event wise, roleplay simuation wise, and so on. The server would boom if this would be done properly in a matter of week.

People dont want to spend there time somewhere, where you can't see much of a progress on important things that matters, such as criminal roleplay scripts , and that you still after 5 years or something, can not save your weapons in your house. Now this isn't a critic toward the current HQ, since every other didn't fix it as well, but small things like that is something that gives you a clue, is someone actually doing something about it, or just not even bothering to see the importance of such. You give the players that, and not only that we will have lots of new players around, yet the old ones gonna return as well.

What about donating for a full-time scripter for a month or two, to put few things in order and help the current team to finish their current projects? I think it's possible to find one online, isn't it?

We could just put some faith and respect into the current Development team and await their planned update.
