It's hard to maintain IV and V at the same time, yeah but you can hire some developers like Teddy or the old scriptor we had, Marcel. This will assist Armelin which reduces his stress.
I know it's hard to hire developers and will take some time but how can you depend on a person who scripts for two servers?

I'm going to assume that closing down the project when it was just getting started isn't allowed or well not an option, I don't know exactly what happened but it does seem kind of childish to close it down and not ask for any help with development or leadership to help grow the server if it was really struggling that badly.

If you guys bothered to check V:MP discord you would've known what led to this. It's clearly not activity the "issue". The server had pretty stable playercount compared to SAMP and IVMP put together.

As always in Argonath we first talk out of our ass (oof community leader that is inactive af) and asslick the owner and then we get a leadership we do not even care about and cause more trouble with a post than it's needed.

If Armelin is gone for good then the V:MP gamemode will need to be recreated, even if he leaves the code with Argonath. That's because the server side is made using a C++ SDK and I don't think anyone here knows fluent C++.

You really cant force only dev of ivmp and vmp to do something he dosnt want, leave the man be its his choice he raised ivmp from ashes once and made a vmp server script.

I will support him for all the things he has done for argo.

I know that you love to think this, but just keep in mind that all developers have to sign a that all code created during their time here is owned by Argonath. But as Chase mentioned above he chose to do it in a weird language so if he decides to leave it'll probably have to be remade anyway.

JS and C++ aren't as weird or as complicated as Pawn and Lua, they are much better. They are even in the top 10 most used languages for years now.

I regularly check V discord, the activity is there. It's just not as a great as it was in the beta and if you look at the topic Armelin made it looks like the activity was the ultimate killer. The discussion on discord only fast tracked him to leave. It's too bad you are trying to disgrace the leadership in V though. There are dedicated people in the team who tested and were constantly trying to improve the server. I wouldn't say the leadership was the problem.

At this moment it was Armelins decision to shut it down, we didn't really have time to anticipate on this decision.

There's a good chance this will be the case, we'll have to see what happens after the dust settles.

I really want to appreciate this message though. Armelin did alot for ArgonathRPG, he brought IV:MP back from the dead when it was vritually gone in 2012. He made his own multiplayer mod making it possible for us to play in T4 IVMP. Then he took initiative by creating a server for V. If it wasn't for him, there'd be alot less on Argonath. So I'm definitely thankful that Armelin has brought us this far.

Armelin imho can do whatever he wants with his game mode, it's sad but at same time there isn't much others can do. Of course he has done a superb job on porting a game mode to V:MP in three months and constantly work on it since release.

If he thinks, we, the players on v:mp, offended him i'm afraid this is not the case. Most of us suggested alot of stuff on the forums as asked, we put hours in the game and that's it. Whatever will happen, it was fun while it lasted

Topic closed. We are already moving on and we have no time for useless discussion. If someone thinks he owns the scripts what he makes for Argonath Community and if he feels like a kiddo one day and gets offended if someone tells him something then its not a strong community and i cant let it happen next time if he gets offended. And again i have to find developers for the server and spend my time on it so some cancerous users on the forums can post some shit about me one day. Grow up guys, its a game and its for the fun. FiveM it is, i will let you know about the process asap.
