"Life support" is an accurate description for "20-30 player peaks" compared to the 100 player peaks several years ago. Let's stop being naive.

I think Bas rather meant that the player count is on the rise, not on top. To be fair, it actually is, SA:MP is seeing better days now, even if it's not it's prime of 100 players which is fair enough considering the age of the game and the fact that the general player count is decreasing and will continue on a downhill trajectory over the next five years. Plus, Kalcor is apparently a complete retard.

It still has the highest playercount of the current servers, but yeah it is not like the good old days when SA:MP itself was still relevant.

Despite the recent boost of activity, I'd second this statement. Too many actions were taken which will backfire in the longterm and were obviously taken as a desperate attempt to maintain at least some activity. The fact that moderators jumped ranks straight to Manager is clear enough to show the state of current affairs. But at least it is some progress after all.

 But if you are asking if the server is good enough for you to return @Ghouls , no. It is not. It is not good enough for you. Stick to wherever you are right now, you'd be better.

Just because you didn't get the rank you were hoping for doesn't mean the server is any less good. Imo you were trying to make argonath into something it is not.

I don't think it's that narrow.. We are trying our best to move the server to a better place, Eg: More players, friendlier scripts etc, that takes time. we can't furfull all the opinions and demands players make these days in the given time frame the players want, we are a community and we need to stay next to each other and hope for better days, and we will experience better days!
If @Ghouls wishes to take a look he is more then welcome to hop in the server and play.
