[SA:MP] Staff recruitment

Hello everyone, I hope you are all fairing well through the trying times of this pandemic.

I'll get straight to the point, SAMP is looking to fill several positions within its staff team, we currently have no members within the development team (scripters) and have no members within the SAMP HQ team.

We are looking for developers that can work on our server as well as people to further develop our web panel.
If you are interested in becoming a developer for our SA:MP server, please reach out to me over forum PM or Discord DMs, if you do not have the ability to message me on Discord, please choose to message me on the forums.
 
We are also looking for one or two people to join the HQ team and have decided to allow "applications" open to the community, before you get excited about this please make sure you read this whole piece to make sure you qualify.

We are looking for up to two people that are dedicated to helping out players, your main job as a member of HQ is to assist players, handle the basics of the staff team (moderators once you pass your trial period) and handle unban requests. Your tasks mainly consists of rather boring or tedious tasks so please ensure that if you decide to apply that you are willing to spend a majority of your time on this.

As  a member of HQ you also need to be a team player, you have to be capable of assisting your colleagues in the team, and guide them to solving player and staff issues. As a member of HQ you have to understand that while you are in a position above others, they are still part of the same team, and no member of that team is better or more important than the other.

We are not looking for people solely interested in the position, we need you to be genuinely interested in helping the SAMP server, and work to make it a better place. While history is not as important to us as it was to some of the people in the past, we expect you to have a good track record in the community servers, and be in good standing with a majority of the players on the community.

There is no application format to be used for your application, but I will put some examples on what you could speak about: A little bit about yourself, your interests, your history in the community, what would you like to achieve if you were accepted as a member of HQ,  your motivation, your experience (if any).

As a final note, please understand this application is to look at those interested, this does not mean we will actually recruit from those that applied, and this application is not the only criteria that will be used for recruitment, this is merely used to be aware of those interested.
I would also like to stress that this application is for the position of manager, you will not become a server leader, nor will you be in charge of the server. You will be working closely with the community leaders and other server leaders, especially in your first few months and decisions are taken together, remember we too are part of that team I spoke of earlier.

We're currently under development for the MTA:SA server, as such, vision and plans concerning the SA:MP division is on halt. However, you can still contribute to either by sharing ideas/improvement methods to Badandy, the lead developer for this project. Thanks!
