The Future of the SA:MP Server

To start, the server is back up and is being supported by myself and the staff team. The server can be found at the following information:

The managers, administrators, and mods are working on a plan and evaluating what we should do with the server. As the sole developer and division leader, I'm going to be working on some small updates that will be released as soon as possible to get certain things fixed like /help and moving the spawn to Los Santos. We are returning to Los Santos as our main hub for player activity. As we look to the future, we need players and players' ideas and support to be able to get this server rolling again. I think with the attention of staff and players, we can create new experiences with our old gal. That said, this isn't 10 years ago and we are open to new ideas and see what we need to adapt to make the server more fun for everyone. Once we have a roadmap together for the server, we will release the detailed plan here as an announcement. In the meantime, please talk with us, send us your ideas, play on the server, and invite your friends to play.

If you want to start a group, please let us know and we can see how we can support you. Groups have a long history here and I believe they are more necessary than ever to create the unique experiences we have here. Send me a direct message if you have any questions about setting up a group or the new managers I'll introduce you to further down this topic. If you have an existing group and require support or changes, please let me know.

For the government groups like SAPD, if you are interested in any of them, please let the managers or myself know. We are looking for members and possibly leaders to help these groups and get them to a solid place.

Staff Changes

Please welcome the new managers of the SA:MP server, Tom Adams and Arthur Kings! They will be assisting me and the server to help shape the vision and guide the server towards that. I think through team work and having a presence on the server will allow for better community building. Tom Adams and Arthur Kings will be working directly with me on the server and I hope we can accomplish what we are trying to do. I would also like to congratulate Stefos for his promotion from moderator to administrator. Everyone currently on our staff team is someone I can trust to work with and are dedicated to see this server succeed.

That said, if you wish to be a moderator, please send me a PM on the forums or DM on Discord and we can discuss that. Consider the mod applications open but we will be a bit informal but more personal through chatting. My discord username is badandy11. That's it for now, this is just a quick brief to state that we are working and we would like to have you join us for the 50th time. If you are banned, please post a unban request and I'll take a look at it. Any questions or discussions can happen here, the discord, or privately with me or other staff.
