What in 'no swearing, no flaming do you not understand ?

When we opened the server there was a clear rule, that as far as I know still is valid.
'No swearing, no flaming".

As SA:MP has a lot of characters that would use slang and some harsh language, the developers decided that it would be allowed to use slang.
On other servers we enforce the rules very strict with direct banana or harder actions.

SA:MP seems to go in a different direction, where players feel that swearing and complete flame is allowed 'when it is done in RP character'.
This is not acceptable. Swearing and flaming are not allowed period.
It does not matter if you are a gangster, a rapper or a criminal, you can use slang without having to resort to swearing and flaming.
Feel that your roleplay is so good it allows you more freedom ? Do so at your own risk.

Maybe if you put in the server rules, they will understand.

- NO CHEATS, NO MODS, NO HACKS;
- NO HELIKILLING, NO CARKILLING, NO RAMMING, NO CARJACKING;
- NO GLITCHES, that give you advantage over other players (attacking from glitched areas);
- NO PAUSING WHEN COMBAT, WANTED;- NO REVENGE KILLING;
- NO FLOOD THE CHAT WINDOW;
- NO SPAM (advertisment of other servers and sites, that do not belong to Argonath RPG server is NOT allowed);
- NO FLAME/INSULT players. If you came to play on our server - respect it and our players;
- NO ATTACKING WITHOUT A PROPER REASON;
- NO ESCAPING WHEN SURRENDERED (follow cops to the police department);
- FOR ONE CHASE CRIMINAL CAN CHANGE ONLY 5 CARS. Fight or surrender;
- POLICE VEHICLES ARE ONLY FOR POLICE DEPARTMENTS;
- MILITARY VEHICLES ARE ONLY FOR ARGONATH ARMY TEAM;
- NO MONEY CHEATING (punishment: permban);
- IMPOSTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED (no any copying other players' nicks or regular clans' tags);
- SLANG IS ALLOWED ONLY AS A PART OF ROLEPLAY (swearing as personal attack on players will be punished);
- NICKS WITH THE UNREADABLE LETTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED (Please refrain from using <>?/|\{}[]()-=+/*- due to the server's RPG script commands)

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Maybe i am blind, maybe not, but where does it say in those rules

Besides, there is absolutely NO WAY you can monitor the /l chat 24/7

So this rule about ic swearing and shit, it's just a bit stupid, why make a rule you cant enforce?

And if you really have to swear for RP (but for me, you DON'T have to, never), don't aim it to other people directly or at least censor it out,

The situation on server just shows that players and some admins want to avoid the rules thinking out the new "ways of roleplay"...

I do not know why they cannot live without "hey motherf**ker wanna anal sex, prick?"... And I have no idea why they think it will increase the friendly atmosphere on server...
Besides it people who are voting for such rules - all  noticed in flaming and offensive attitude to others... Troublemakers as it is...

I only swear when I am seriously pissed or am in an RP situation and say something like 'Yo homie, where's that motherfucker gone'. I don't know many gangsters that don't swear, I keep it to a minimum but it's rare I swear in main chat.
