They cannot as its illegal content...
As for official multiplayers - do not know which policy will run Rockstar, but other official multiplayers are not against maps and gamemode modifications...

From what i'm hearing about the GTA IV MP....i can safley say, Rockstar can learn alot from MTA and SA:MP....

 Haha^ yeah the official 2 player coop in GTASA was worse..

anyway yeah this was a stupid ass idea of SAMP team to do..

 Also good graphics doesn't mean everything.. you must look at game play and if the game is fun to even play. But to me GTA4 looks stupid.. IDK why the graphics just suck to me, even worse then SA. The graphics look like cut-scenes of older 1998 games... cant remember what, but..

 Yes, like in games where you see good graphics for cut scenes but in game sucks.. IDK just to me GTA4 looks weird.

looked at some trailers even the cutscenes dont look graphicly spectacular but remember GTA has always been a bit behind with graphics ..Its the content we all came to love (at the time of GTA2 3d grapihics like in gtra3 were already possible but they decided to make it less demanding)

I think they rather have a game that runs smooth on a lot of PCs rather then a graphical masterpiece that runs choppy on all but the newest systems I know I do .

Graphics probably aren't up there with COD4 and such because GTA is a very large game.

In graphics you can compare every game... And the most exclamation from all trailers and screenshots of GTA IV were right to graphics... For the game developers of cartoon style its a big step, but not in compare with the new games that are going out nowadays... I suppose this was the main point (off-topic thou *giggles*)...

As for animation of cutscenes, I agree with Hell - it looks like old one Interstate'82 cutscenes...  :)

But GTA was always many features, secrets, sarcastic jokes, adult content - this is what players liked... So the main will be a storyline and multiplayer I think...

If back to topic - actually no any wish to go back to topic...  :lol:
I really did not like all situation, I am sure there is no right side - all was cos of ambitions of all sides...

As for forums down - probably its even good, but at least could be archive for players...
It was mainly visited by asskissers, less by those who had problems, scriptshowroom...
