Maby i should say also that the one from sweden telliing the results of swedish televoting Was NOT serious.
He is one of the most famous comedians in sweden and acting weird that is just one of his little "thing" haha.
He was gonna look suprised and uncomfortable with the situation and he manage to do it quite well.  I´m pretty sure it made us swedes look a bit stupid afterall :=) But he is funny

It is however, our best one in years. That said, it doesn't actually matter how incredible our entry is, it won't come close to winning.

Frankly, the contest isn't even about music, it is political. Western Countries have almost no chance, with all the Eastern Countries voting for each other. However, even the Western Countries are biased.
For example, Spain's entry not only deserved no points, it deserved some kind of magical negative points. But it still got loads, and from Portugal as an example. France's entry was also particularly poor, and their score somewhat reflected that, but ultimately they still got quite a few.
Its fairly obvious that politically nobody likes the UK, so why are we even in the EU?    :rules:

Personally, I found it a fairly shameful contest. Entries that were complete crap like Spains got quite a few points, whilst really good entries including Finland and Turkey, didn't get as many as they should of done (though Turkey did fairly well). Its also a real shame for UK, since he deserved more.
That same act sung for, maybe, Russia or Ukraine, would have done far better. You can't disagree with that point, at least.

Yes, this is why when I saw UK, France, Germany, I was really sad, cos they have no chances to win with such voting policy, even if there will be a great singers...

To this thread, when Russia just joined, it sent the top singers, all of them failed... Not any of them were higher then 15th... Even thou, in compare with other singers, they were really professional singers with good voice, good music... And you could also hear in Russia "WTF, some craps won"...
So such voting for each other was not made by Russia, it was already set on eurovision...
Check all votes, you will see that there is no any country which showed the real votes...

Nowadays in Russia many people on phrase "oh, our singer won on eurovision" are answering "Pfffff", which shows Russians do not consider Eurovision show as a professional, fair competition...
I myself was not interested in Eurovision after I saw what crap it is...
I watch it only cos our mushrooms are watching...
