Yeah, i've been playing Lord of the Rings online for some days, because am a lotr fan and i just wanted to try the game.
And my big suprise: there is damn good roleplay in it.
I joined a [EN-RP] server called Laurelin.
And like all people have names out of middle earth.
Also a cool option is the so called title ability, its a title you can get for doing something special.
Like me, i didnt got killed at the first 5 lvles, so i could set my title as: Inzaghi the Wary.
Or i could just use me title of my birth place, Inzaghi of Rohan.
There are so much titles.
Also one of the best stuff there is that you can buy a house, and decorate it as much you want it.
And what i love is the music ability, i just brought myself a clarinet and i was playing Scatman, Vader Jacob and Zelda theme at the local Inn.
You can press the number 1 till 8 for the notes, and you can play whatever song you want, just train it and you will be good at it.
The thing i love in LOTRO is that it realy gives you the feeling that you are living in middle earth.
Your just some guy, and you can go your own way.
The classes in LORTO are: Hobbit,Elf,Men,Dwarfs.
Today was some great RP.
I was playing scatman at the center of a small town, and then 2 guys came up.
They dances and clapped while i was playing and when i was done they asked for my name (even tho it was above my head, they RPed it).
I said: I am Inzaghi, and what is your name?
He said: I am (forgot the name) son of bla bla.
And his title said also, his name, and Son of.
So you can even marry and have a son or something in this game, sounds big to me.
Its a great game for lotr fans, and a great game for RPers.
The bad thing about this game is that its a MMORPG, same as WoW or Guild Wars.
And much people still choose WoW instead of LOTRO, witch i understand.
