It's not working. At all. And yes, to answer your question, I've gone to church every Sunday for ten months, I've read the bible, so I'm not just talking from my ass if you're guessing that.

I am not bashing your religion, so do not try and take it as that. I do not bash any religion, I respect everyone's religion, as it works for them.
From Satanists to Buddhists, I do not say one bad thing about them, as I have no need to.

But what you've done there is sum it up. "God" is nothing but a 'word'.

How you interpret this 'word' differs among religions, and in the case of many atheists (and non-religious) it is simply a word and nothing more.

I could flip the point of most of your arguments, by the way. 'Don't believe in evolution? Open your eyes'. It sounds so obviously right to me, and clearly your argument sounds so obviously right to you, but hence we think each other's are obviously wrong. Thats why I don't blatantly go around saying my views without offering the other side of the coin, because although I feel very, very strongly that "God" is not real, some people like to believe that - and I have no right to change someone else's beliefs.

We all respect each others beliefs.. Hoping for a topic lock as it cud lead to bad implications. Sure I could stay away from the topic but me staying away may not keep people from feeling bad abt what another person writes here abt their faith

It's all religion.
Of course, wars happen because of Resources, Control, Power, and cause of Religion.
