Steam "eats" alot of net speed...

Hi everyone

I have a problem, when I have steam online (or should i say, opened), the internet is SLOW AS HELL and sometimes doesnt even display the page!! :wow:

What kind of problem is this? O.o

Check "My Games" and "Tools" for updating games. Actual Steam may be updating too.

Try shut down some programs too , it might slow down your computer not the internet. If it slow down the internet check if steam is updating as GiacJr said.

It is NOT the computer, I need to refresh like 2 times to the page show, because like if I go to a site like GOOGLE first it doesn't show (shows error page) and then if I refresh it does show :gd:

If you have a firewall, it may be preventing Steam from accessign the itnernet easily, therefore slowing down the rest of your bandwidth with it. try addng Steam.exe or whatever to your allow list (i dont know of the ports, you probobly need to add those too)

I just figured out it's not speed

It's just I can't acess the page when I go into it for first time (If i am lucky shows up right away), i need to refresh.
