I can install Windows Vista 100% without any problems....
But when I when install Windows XP, it says "Cant detect any Hard Drives, please check if all cables is correctly connected", and blablablabla....
Well as I can install the Windows Vista, is everything correctly connected?
And im 100% sure that theres absulutly NOTHING wrong with the CD.
Can anyone plz help me here?
Thanks.

make sure the power cable to the HDD is pluged in all the way, and the SATA or IDE cable is all the way into the MB and HDD (i had the same problem)

write down you motherboard model, Download the Sata RAID driver, put it on a floppy, hit F6 when windows ask for it at the beginning of the installation, and install it... You could also streamline it...

If motherboard vendor doesnt support SATA raid disks, just simply download SIW (system information for windows) and find your chipset, go to via or intel and download it that way..

Good luck :)

They are 100% plugged in correctly.

I give it a try... But I think that's too complicated for me

yu dont need sata driver for your HDD, but from your Motherboard's Chipset..
You can get that information by using Everest or SIW.
here a little screenshot to give you a peek where to look.. :

(to get full image, copy and zoom in with any program on the picture)
