Also, to solve the running away problem there could be a !handcuff command so that the criminal isn't allowed to get further than say 5m away from cop. if he does he is teled back to the cop

Admins are always on to warn a player who runs away from surrendering. Just !fr and they cant move. They need to learn how the rules work.

Also i think players should get their weapons back after being jailed.
This way they will prefer being jailed rather than being killed, since their weapons are preserved

exactly, try typing !dis player when the player is a passenger in your car.

if a player surrenders and got killed, the cops should'nt get money for it becouse he surrendered. That way people learn more to RP.

But what about if someone surrender and then he escapes?, what should we do? ask em to surrender again? xD
But i think is  a good idea to disarm a criminal when is surrendered, but not when he enters in the jail, cuz then he can escape before be in jail.
If the suspect sur and get disarmed maybe he is goin to jail for gettin his guns back.

Im agree about it could be bugged, but sometimes there r not admins connected :S so there must be some kind of command or idk for they dont get escaped :P  :help:

There is an great script in MTA:VC.. player who is wanted and wants to sur he types !sur and there will read Player <nick> have surrended and the cop who is closest can arrest him. If someone steals that jail admins will take care of that

Agreed, I know I won't surrender unless I get my weapons back after being released from jail.

Yes! Why woudl you sticka round and cause a problem, just jail the citzen and then GTFO! I dislike the idea of Prisoners losing there weapons, there are just too many risks that could happen. I eman the Prisoner is not going to shoota  he cop if he is not bothering him, if you would GTFO and leave hima lien you would not get shot now would you?

Yeha well it's unfair when your in a tiny cell and a cop shoots you and gets rid of almost all your health, or beats the shit out of you in your cell. Yo have no way of defeding your self. and that goos sir is called Police Brutality and almost everyone does it.

Then use !report <nick/ID> <reason>.... People really should use !report more often... Admins cannot be online 24/7 and checking what is happening on server..
