maybe a solution would be ... a server with argonath rpg 3.0 and password protected ..
passwourd would be only given to players the admins know ...
this way we wouldn't have bots?

I guess that isn't likely to happen... Anyway, server owners could make a server not registered neither in internets list neither in officials list... If we do that and bots still come up... Then be sure someone around the neighborhood is having contact with the botters...

Or even block their region's routes...  :( But this one is not likely to happen also...  :)

Let me tell it for the last time!
The BOTS, are coming from Australia - They have nothing to do with the DDos and server downtime.
The bots will be kicked ingame, bots cant join when server is off.

The only problem now is, the DDoS attack - Coming from Argentina
The gave the server time-outs, and that is why I was offline sometimes.
Right now the main admins are installing new software to prevent attacks.

This have the consequention that the servers will be OFFLINE.
This means the servers with IP: 89.149.196.238 and ports: 7777 and 7778 are DOWN.
And again, this is only for security updates.

So after the updates, they will be back online and there have to be no further attacks anymore.

Give them the IP is enough.
And hiding IP is unpossible

The IP is on:
- Teamspeak
- Site
- Player know it.

So it's not a way to solve.

Not ready yet i guess...And only betatesters will be able to get there i guess...We don't even know who the betatesters will be. Patience, that's they key to success. Our community is great and strongest than any other, we love Argonath RPG and we show ti everyday. Nothing will make us bow ;)

Betatesters will be picked up when BETA server opened.
So wait for ur turn to become betatester.

Actually, you can also DDoS him back. Some retard once DDoS'ed me after I had a fight with him. He even managed to let my ISP block me, so I changed ISP's :)

But anyway, I think we just have to sit back and wait for them to take a break..
