Crashing when I see Fire ingame.

Hey guys,
I need some help of yall:
The problem is: Everytime I see Fire ingame (like the torches at Alhambra or Molotovcocktailexplosions or Carexplosions) I crash.
I have a CLEO Mod installed: New Great Effects, which worked very fine for a while, I dont know if it has any relationship with that but..yeah.
Anyone can help me? NO I DONT WANT TO REINSTALL SA, I dont think its needed.

Perhaps getting rid of that mod you have installed will fix the problem..

The problem is: IT DID WORK ALL FINE, but now from time to time..it came like that...any other suggestions?

Try setting down the DirectX soundware. The sound might crash u. Thats the problem when u are in transfender, the sound when the door is open, crashes u, if u dont got a good audio card.

Can you see the fire before you crash? if not, maybe you have the fire texture corrupted...

I cant see the fire, well it happens to fast...I just have to pass any fire (like Alhambra torches) and it crashes .

If you replaced anything from New Great Effects, like new textures, it will crash when fire loads up.
